I do not like the ab crunch but with a t-shirt that came with of most elites you doesn't see that

This is a fantastic idea. I am building a collection for my son, and picking up some stuff for me along the way, so most of what I buy are basics so he can play with them. The elites are amazing and I pick those up for my self when I see something I really dig, but I would love to have a basic bossman or Doink so my little dude can enjoy them too.
I have been buying him elites too, but won't give them to him until he is older, they are absolutely more fragile.

I don't know why the ab-crunch on the Elites bother some people... it's hardly noticeable most of the time - and a LOT of the figures have shirts/coats etc. that cover it up anyway... I don't know why, it just really bugs me. I can understand if it doesn't for others, I'm just real picky I guess.

Some attires should be elite and some should be basic. Elites should have more important attires and come with entrance gear or titles that fit the attire better I can understand that. I know choosing to collect more Basics than Elites means less accessories, but I personally am ok with that.

If anything I want it the other way around. There have been a lot of basics that would have made great elites.
Basic 55 Sting comes to mind.
Others include RR 95 HBK. BAF Jericho. TNF Undertaker (gray gloves). WM 12 HBK. Green Warrior. Neon Sting.
I could go on and on.

I said no and here's why. I was hoping for Ascension Elites since they debuted and the black attire is their most iconic which they used for the battlepack so the Elites were red. Initially I was disappointed but then I realised that was a good choice as the Ascension won't get many figs so it's cool to have two different attires for each member.

I think it cool for them to consider releasing some basic flashbacks in other less detailed attires.
