I will say for me personally, I love the detail put into Elites and they look great MOC, but I just really don't like the cut they have in the stomach just so they can more poseable. To me, that kills the look of it, but again, they look great in box. So when I see a great looking Elite come out, I hope there would be a similar looking Basic version as well because while I keep my Elites MOC, I open and display Basics. And there's been plenty of great looking basics in my opinion. I know almost everyone here opens their Elites and display them, but I'm curious to know if others here would like to see this happen, as there have been already a couple done. But for example, we're getting a Wolfpac Sting, so how about a basic Sting that looks basically the same but no accessories and make it a basic?

Nope. To me that's a huge wasted opportunity to get different attires out there. Just doesn't make sense to do, for mattel's business or for giving fans as much variety as possible.

Eh, I don't know. There are some Basics that I would have love to have seen in Elite style instead like WM3 Steamboat, that white Orndorff, and updated Iron Sheik.

I get the ab crunch thing but then we would have running series with the exact lineups and miss out on a variety of guys. I look at first time in line guys who may never get an elite like J and J or the Ascension or guys that just simply dont get elites like a Paul Heyman or something like that.

Ok, then to add on, maybe not EVER single Elite should get equivalent Basic release, but maybe just some.

I still have never bought a basic. Doubt I ever will. But I would love to have some basics in elite form. Outsiders and Sting/Warrior battle packs would be a great start.

I think the basic figures should be for figures like J&J and Jim Ross. I think managers announcers refs should all be basic. Let the wrestlers be elite. We are going to get 1000 Cenas any way no need for a 1000 basic figures too. However I understand that people cant afford elites all the time.

Voted yes since I collect mostly basics. I'm ok and understand there might be a little lower detail quality. Im suprised so many people voted no especially when it looked like Rollins Summerslam attire for example was going to be a basic first.

I don't think anyone will put it as succinctly and clear as this. I collect both lines so I hate when they repeat attires from a basic on an elite.

All I know is that I want an elite Hacksaw Jim Duggan with a better torso & head and an elite Iron Sheik wearing trunks instead of biker shorts.

Look at the Series 65 Roman Reigns, it looks incredible in my opinion. I have no problem having basics and I don't pose my loose figures in any special way, so I have no specific interests in only purchasing Elites like most others are.

Depends on the wrestler and attire. Rollins cash in or his white ranger attires deserve both treatment.

Some attires should be elite and some should be basic. Elites should have more important attires and come with entrance gear or titles that fit the attire better

Most current stars get both treatments don't they? Of course minus the shirt / accessory?
Rollins Roman Dean Cena Orton KO Joe New Day Bray Big Show And a ton of the older Elites too
Kind of thought they'd always done same attires for both (minus the Flashbacks)

I don't know why the ab-crunch on the Elites bother some people... it's hardly noticeable most of the time - and a LOT of the figures have shirts/coats etc. that cover it up anyway...
