One is the old stiff hard rubber. The other is softer and more moveable. I usually swap them out or cut slits in back. But if they were both the soft rubber that would be perfect. Defect or do we have s new material for the knee pads.

I don't get what you're saying. Is (for example) the left one hard and the right soft?

Supposedly some of the newer figures have the softer knee pads. I think I read Sid may have them. Which is good because the older ones crack over time.

The stiff ones are worthless. There's no playability with them on

The new basic hacksaw has the softer pads.... My friend said they look and feel cheap...
Could it be a cost cutting measure to change the pads?
It's scary how many things are changing
The basic arms and knees, pad materials, skin tone painting

Yes. Very strange. Same with Summerslam Heritage Batista. One soft and one hard Kneepad. I was the one who noticed them on Basic Big Cass and Sid as well. But both those figures have two soft kneepads.
Much better articulation when they use these style knee "sleeves" Odd that some are only coming with one. I hope they become the new regular.
Oh yeah Summerslam Hacksaws smaller style kneepads are the same material. First soft ones I've seen of that size.
