I have 2 Targets in my town and they are both the absolute worst Targets under God's hot sun. Always last to get everything. Always. Well one store has shown on the brick seek app that they've had 4 HOF Dusty rings in stock for a week. Saleable qty 0. I've stopped by, called, and told both times that none were on the floor and none in the back and "that if they were in the back they cannot be brought out cuz they have a date on them or will be part of a reset." So today my buddy has the idea to order it on their site and try to choose in store pickup. I did, and surprise surprise.....that store was an option for same day pickup. 20 minutes later I get an email saying that my item is no longer available and to either choose a different pickup or shipping method or to cancel my order. Brick seek still shows 4 in stock. So after work I say it, I'm going in there and explaining my online order debacle to guest services. Guy types in dpci and it says they have 4. He asks me how many I want. I say I only ordered 1 but I'll take 2. He says no problem and heads to the backroom. I'm thinking holy crap finally, was that so hard? 5 minutes later he returns empty handed and confused. Says there's none back there. Question is, where the are they? Am I being lied to once again or did someone steal them?

They have to be saleable to buy. They are part of the reset soon and at that store it was marked not for sale and not scanned in.

People have been to Targets and said they are just on pallets in the backroom and not in a location like they usually are which is why they can't be found Bc they are part of the reset.

They are on the transition pallet either in the back somewhere or on a trailer they have out back. He probably didn't look in the right spot.

To conserve space in the backroom when Target has large resets they will typically separate items and put them on pallets and then store them (usually) over head in the backroom. As they come off the truck the boxes are scanned so it shows they are in the building but because they are on a pallet and not scanned into a backroom location, they cant be found. Also to pull the pallet down you have to be "certified" to operate the lift so just grabbing some kid working the floor part time after school probably isnt going to help. My suggestion is to find the store manager or an ETL (not just a schmuck or Team Leader) and one of them will usually go the extra bit for you.

Was told at a couple different store that these are waiting to be put out after they do a toy reset on the 1st. I'd check to see if your target is doing a toy reset this week.

I've been to 3 different Targets now that show 4 in stock but they're not on the shelf and I'm told they're not in the back so I don't know what's going on.

This is what happens when you don't know how things work. There is a process for things. Sometimes those processes are inconvenient to you. This is a life lesson. You're better off learning from it.

I think you were sent by God to challenge my sarcasm... Either way, Prefect is not an idiot or at fault for anything... I mean what are you trying to say?

Some of the replies are 100% correct. Most of the toys for the reset are on pallets right now. These pallets don't even have a set location in the back room. They are moved to wherever there is space throughout the day. Honestly...the best thing to do is wait until the reset is done. You'll have plenty to choose from. Of course, I got my Dusty on Sunday from a Target that didn't wait for the reset and just flexed them out where there was available shelf space.

The Target on Nicholasville Rd might be one of the worst stores in the entire city.. I've never been there and been able to buy anything I want.. Movies, toys, clothes..
Now the one in Hamburg usually comes through.. But I'm not out there searching for actions figures very often.. All I know is they take care of their blu ray inventory.

Get yourself a crib out here in Cali dude. Nice weather, hot girls, and plenty of toys.

My target just finished their reset. Took 3 days. And still not out on shelf. So who knows.

And on top of that. I called Target last Monday and was told they had it but couldn't sell it till the end of the week. So I call Friday and they say "we don't have it". Well ok then. I call another target and they say "we have it but can't sell it till Sunday the 31st, but it shows so and so target has it (the first target I called on a Monday). So I tell him what they told me, he said they have it, the person was probably just to lazy to walk in the back to get it. So I call them back and again they say "we have it but can't sell it till Sunday that's when we do our toy reset". So I go yesterday to see if they have it. I get there and nothing. So I call back and they say "we don't have it, but we're doing a toy reset Wednesday and it should be out then".
