I read 2 interesting things I couldn't believe this week, the amount of VCRs still being sold per year, and AOL still makes 500 mil a year off of dial up subscribers. Unbelievable
I remember when VHS first came out and buying the movie was super expensive which made rentals much more cost efficient.

By the time I was old enough, wrestling tape trading wasn't much of a thing anymore, but I personally recorded a lot of WWE TV on many VHS tapes. I remember when my VCR got messed up, I spent my allowance to rent a VCR from Blockbuster Video just to re-watch old wrestling tapes. Then my parents bought me a new VCR and I used that thing for a long time, and just a few years ago put it away somewhere, and threw away all my recorded VHS tapes.
