The WM match with Ambrose killed this run for me. Ambrose tried to make that match something, but Brock just s**t all over it. That's not true at all. Creative sh*t on that match. Really? Because Brock wanted to do the Wyatt feud - not the Ambrose one. Vince made him do the Ambrose feud, and surprise, surprise - the match was terrible. It's easy to blame creative, but Brock did a half-ass job, because he didn't want to do the match. I'm a Brock fan, but this last year? He's really given the finger to the fans.

I don't get it,
You have a guy like Cena who professes his love day in and day out for WWE, not wrestling, for the organization called the WWE that allows him to afford 50 high-end cars in his collection. And then you have a guy like Brock who plainly says he's in it for the payday. Not for the love of anything else but money. Honest and to the point.
How can you not respect that?

All the reports stated Brock and Dean wanted to have a crazy match and most of their ideas were shot down by Vince. In a nutshell, Vince wanted it to be a glorified squash match.

I don't recall reading any rumors that Vince wanted it to be a "glorified squash", but it was reported by multiple sources that Vince killed a number of ideas Brock and Dean committed to doing because they were too violent, and he didn't want that match stealing the thunder from the Shane/Taker match. Anyway, following Brock's appearance this week on Raw, the collective answer to this question is pretty much "no." Raw ratings stayed flat, and actually decreased if you count the margin of error. Brock isn't drawing eyes to the weekly product.

Well, I bought it. You can tell when watching that the match was cut short. And it basically was a big glorified squash match anyway.
I buy that more than I buy Brock going out and putting in minimal effort and sh*tting on the match.

The WM match with Dean/Brock was by far my biggest disappointment with WM. I thought Brock was going to have to damn near kill Dean to get him to stay down. I figured Brock would win, but I thought Dean would come out of that match looking like a legit tough guy. I thought he'd come across like Austin did against Bret at WM13. I wanted the match to end with Brock looking at Dean with respect. Respect because he took a beating like no one else and still kept coming.
Instead Dean was rag-dolled and pinned easily. Ugh.

Was there even any storyline surrounding Brock vs Orton? I haven't been keeping up lately but it seemed to just get announced out of no where.
