They had to dump him because he was stirring the wage debate pot. Can't have that getting out of hand. But he'll return in a few years. And he'll blow the roof off when he does.

He went downhill when WWE forced him to wear those stupid trunks. I hope he goes to Japan and dominates.

He should have had a WWE title run in 2012-13. Best of luck to him.

I liked Ryback but he's no big loss to me.

WWE completely buried him. He was ruined when he lost to Mark Hebry at WN29. His final match which was Kalisto Vs. Ryback for the IC title, was an entertaining match, and it looks like Ryback improved in the ring. I hope Ryback finds success on the independent circuit. This is absolutely correct, Ryback had the momentum going into this match - I was there live, and the crowd just kind of fizzled as soon as Ryback lost the match, because it made absolutely zero sense. Based on this video - does he even know that he probably can't use/market the Ryback name, as it's likely trademarked by WWE? I wouldn't be surprised if the "Feed Me More" catch phrase is also the intellectual property of WWE in some fashion...... I get the impression he thinks he'll be using these terms? They're giving Cody Rhodes a hard time about using "Cody Rhodes" - I certainly can't see them allowing this guy, who left on somewhat bad terms, to continue to use their trademarks.....

If he wins at HIAC 2012, he gets on the same superstardom level as Cena/Bryan/Punk from 2011-2013. He could have been a major brand name/draw.

If Rock wasn't penned in to take the title at the Rumble I think he definitely would've won either at HIAC or possibly the next PPV, but they'd already stuck with the Cena/Rock plan so Ryback ended up being the collateral damage in the situation. Unfortunately he never truly recovered which is a shame cos he could've been huge, I remember he was getting deafening Feed Me More chants at a house show I was at during that time.

Couple things killed his chances.
1. Putting him against Punk in 2012. Punk was white hot, even the push Ryback was getting wasn't gonna stop that, he would have been better off saved for a later time.
2. Putting over Henry at Wrestlemania 29. Made no sense, Henry was pushing part time status as a mid carder.
3. Turning Heel on Cena. Would have been a great Face vs. Face feud IMO. Seemed all kinds of random for Ryback to get upset about getting beat up by the Shield which was two feuds ago by the point he got to Cena.
Didn't like the guy, didn't hate the guy. There's others though I'd rather see getting an opportunity before him.

It's funny, I didn't know it was a video. I thought to myself "Ryback is in a car, what does that have to do with anything?". Kept reading responses and I thought what the f*** am I missing? Finally I realized it and I'm ashamed. Hopefully nobody ever finds out. Shh...
As for Ryback... He was a good talent that I had mixed feelings about. Sometimes i liked him and wanted to get behind him. But other times he just seemed to go trough the motions and he bored me. I hope he find success though, because he always seemed like a cool guy.

That night after Mania when he came out, left Cena laying and mimed giving him the finger, the crowd went absolutely nuts for him. But that entire heel turn was just a way to find a new person for Cena to absolutely bury at the time since he had already run through the roster twice over already and they were out of new heels to feed him (no pun intended).

i'm kind of of the stance that he was never really good enough to be there. his wrestling ability did slowly improve over time though, at least.

WWE dropped the ball with Ryback. He was the biggest superstar at one point and WWE was stupid to not take advantage of that.

The only thing he will never finish is trying to insult Punk. I swear- its like that one a-hole friend who keeps saying "That's what she said".
He's about as smart as a bag of doorknobs, and he'd probably get lost falling down the stairs.

I liked how he started off by wishing the WWE good luck in their future endeavors. A nice twist on the standard goodbye from WWE.
I dislike how he says he is wrestling a full schedule and then gives out a yahoo e-mail address for people to book him. That's not good news. Get signed somewhere Big Guy and good luck.
