So......Dirty Dave and The Wrestling Observer is reporting that there are talks of Raw and Smackdown trading some guys.
Apparently they are looking at trading Owens and Cesaro to Smackdown in return for Randy Orton.
I REALLY hope this is true. If it is than Smackdown easily becomes my go to show. But it's Meltzer and company who knows....

I like the idea of Owens and Cesaro going to Smackdown, but i'm a little hesitant about them executing trades this early on. It says that Vince doesn't really have confidence in the rosters he created, and that's worrisome.

I think that make all the sense in the world, which means it is not true. WWE would never use logic.

Owens and Cesaro were, in my mind, two of the most obvious guys that could benefit hugely from a run on Smackdown. So I really hope this happens.

What Vince doesn't realise is, SmackDown will benefit from that more than RAW.

trade cena hes out of place no. They NEED Cena on Smackdown. He's their biggest draw by a large margin. Raw has Roman/Rollins and an argument could be made for Y2J and Smackdown currently has Cena/Ambrose/Orton and possibly Styles. Honestly when it comes to drawing I'm sure that the Raw guys could be considered weaker at the moment. Sending Orton over there would just about even it out. Remember I'm talking strictly from a "drawing" standpoint.

I rather see Owens stay on Raw.
The tag team thing he has with Jericho at the moment has so much potential. They could easily be Tag Team Champions together.

i must say, it's impressive just how fast this draft put smackdown back on the map in wwe fan's minds. i wonder if the ratings overall reflect that.

So 2 young rising guys are worth 1 old Randy Orton? Great way to bury your talent Vince!

They're doing okay, but not as well as I'm sure they'd hoped given the fact that they went live to a night without competition with an exclusive roster. Ratings are in the toilet across the board, and the draft hasn't changed that. It's just that now, a few more people that already watched Raw are watching Smackdown too/again. I'm sure the hope was attracting new eyes, but, they aren't. The most interesting story going forward is whether or not Smackdown overtakes Raw come football season. The margin makes it plausible.

JeriKO getting the tag titles and a lengthy run as a team is only beneficial to both guy. Plus......you know damn well when they split Jericho will put KO over most likely giving us a face KO.

Orton to Raw makes sense. Raw is lacking in top guys whereas Smackdown is a little top-heavy, especially on the babyface side.
Cesaro to Smackdown kinda makes sense. Smackdown is low on midcard guys.
Owens to Smackdown doesn't make a great deal of sense to me. He's already feuded with Cena and Ambrose, and has fought Ambrose in particular about 2974643947834634 times in the last year. He's fought Ziggler an awful lot already too. So I don't know what there is for Owens on Smackdown.

This could establish Cesaro finally as a ME-level guy & solidify KO as the second heel on SD! (arguably) to Bray...Styles is a heel, sure, but he's not capable of tearing apart anyone on the roster on any given night...
Randy gets to go to RAW and face Sheamus 2,000 more times.

I was surprised Orton & Cena both were drafted to the same show to begin with. And I think everyone was surprised that Owens & Zayn were too. So this sorta makes sense.
But I don't like trading two for one. Throw Kalisto in there with Orton and make it a lil more even.

It's pretty hard to classify Styles as a heel right now. He's legit getting CM Punk esque split reactions. crap KO is basically getting the same reactions....
