Bill has mentioned recently that part of the money for Defining Moments figures goes the the design on the box.
So the thought is if less money goes to the design of the box then maybe more can go to making the figures better, like added accessories, clothes or attire.
So how would you like Defining Moments to be?

The boxes do look way nicer now but I still liked the old box with more accessories

How about we get rid of the useless bottom part that says "Defining Moments" and have that overlap the plastic a bit somehow? Make the packaging even smaller and save some $ for the figure itself.

I'll be honest and say that I could care less about how the packaging looks like. The important part for me is how the figure looks like because at the end of the day that's what we're here for, that is unless you're a moc collector. They could still make something nice with a minimalistic approach and use the rest of the money towards the figure.

Every single one of those nice fancy boxes I bought are in a landfill somewhere.

I'm a MOC collector, although I do have my fair share of loose figures. I would much rather less money be put into the packaging design. When I look at my moc figures on display, I pay all of my attention to the figure inside of the packaging.

I'd rather the figure got the budget and not the packaging

If you are patient you can get these for 20 or less anyway. Not like these things sell out quickly.

As a moc collector, I like a nice box. But the DM box isn't even that cool. Put the $ in the accessories.

If he said that, then it's a cop out. The box is already designed. And there is less art on the DM box than a standard elite, that nonsense is bs!

Surely they can't be too expensive to produce? I do love the DM boxes though... ideally, I'd like to keep them how they are.

I've no interest in the box. I only keep the little cardboard insert from inside (along with the figure obviously!)

Yeah that seems odd. The design is the same on every box except for swapping our text, I dont get how that could figure into spending more money on the box. Doesn't make much sense to me

Couldn't care less about a box, I wouldn't even care if figures were in plain white boxes with a WWE Mattel series and figure name print in plain black text, as long as the figure itself is immaculate.

I don't remember old DM boxes, but the new boxes have the crazy insert art. So there is design cost there, not to mention die cuts, etc. Looks great, but if push comes To shove, I'd rather have robes, shirts and appropriate accessories (I hate accessories for accessories' sake).

The figure. If I wanted highly decorated cardboard I'd go to hobby lobby.
