Yeah, I knew it was December but wasn't aware they'd confirmed what the show was. Forgot to look for a pre-sale after Raw last night. Also didn't realize they'd upped brand-specific PPVs to $500 for ringside. Not exactly sure I want to pay that. It's out of hand. In in 2007 I paid $200.00 to sit ringside at Cyber Sunday because, in part, I wanted the chair with Candice Michelle on it. My friends thought I was crazy for paying that much. For awhile, a used to pick which PPVs to go to based on the chair design, but that's a story for another day. You can pay $500(depending on the market a little more or a little less) for a Ringsider package at a house show and sit front row, keep your chair, get a swag bag and get a meet and greet with 2-3 superstars. But that's a house show and the PPVs will always be more appealing. Back to WrestleMania. I went to 31 & 32, skipped last year and will probably go to 34. I just haven't decided how to do it. WWE Travel Package, Wrestle Con deals or something else?

But that's a house show and the PPVs will always be more appealing. I knew they'd gotten up that high for some of the bigger shows (Wrestlemania not withstanding, of course), but I thought the smaller shows were still around $300-$325. I see it's only the first few rows in certain areas that carry the $500 price tag. They drop to $425 after that, which is still a little extravagant. I like the $500 ringsider package for house shows because no one around here ever buys them, so I can just wait for them to kill them off and nab front row at face value to every house show with relative ease.

I paid $350 each for 2nd row For TLC in 2014 and 4th row for Money in the Bank '15. Got chairs both times.
Paid $500 each for front row Raw in April this year.

I know Rumble tix for 2018 front row were $1,000 a piece I believe. We ended up with 3rd row behind announcers for a pretty penny, hoping we get chairs to take home LOL. Anywho, does anyone know what sections are good for decent viewing in New Orleans? Not doing the travel package, friends and I booked a hotel, and are just going to Mania and possibly Raw, going to try and scoop decent seats for Mania though, preferably lower bowl seating.

I know Rumble tix for 2018 front row were $1,000 a piece I believe. Face value for the Rumble is $600 plus fees. Anything more than that was either a Platinum seat through the box office (not sure if Wells Fargo even does this), or a resale ticket.

Looking to pay my way and have a closer experience! 30 was my first Mania. I do not suggest sitting upstairs. I made that mistake not knowing any better. It felt like a 20 mile hike getting up there.

I remember paying $400 for 2nd row beside the ramp for Raw 9 years ago. I think for Survivor Series the VIP seats were close to $700. cableV you should look into the Wrestlecon hotels since they get great deals.

Welp, the Wrestlemania bug bit me. So I'm definitely going to NOLA for something this year. Don't know if it'll be for Mania itself, but definitely want to hit up AXXESS. My friend who went with me last year convinced me. He told me that at Mania, he didn't get a chance to do the autograph searching bc of financials. He feels like given the scare by Flair, he needs to try and meet some legends before its too late (a belief I had since Savage passed, and a belief I've tried to act on since Piper passed). So, he wants to go to Wrestlecon. With me wanting to meet Alexa Bae, my game plan this year will be a pic and auto from her. All the others I can miss since I took advantage and met my favorite legends the past 2 years (Would still like to meet Vader if I have the cash. Last year I ran out because I just had to get a photo with Johnny B Badd. Not my best move. Was not factoring meeting him in and then next thing I know, I was SOL on Vader).

I was lucky enough to meet Alexa outside of a house show this past weekend. She was a total sweetheart and stuck around to meet every person hanging around outside when should could have easily stopped, or avoided the crowd all together. I talked to her about her baby pig Larry Steve for a minute or so. You won't be disappointed!

I'm hoping to save enough to go to my first Mania this year. Will probably use the travel package since it's my first time and for the convenience.
What is the cost of WrestleCon usually run?

Lol It depends on how many people you wanna meet. Admission is only like $40 a day, but you pay per autograph/photo. I probably spent close to 2 grand at wrestlecon last year.

From what I can remember I spent a little over 500 and only met 9 people. Maria Kanellis,Lauren Van Ness, Luger, Johnny B. Badd, Brooke Adams, Jeff Jarrett, Nash, Hall, Shockmaster. And two of those were only photos.

Since almost every wrestler not contracted to WWE will be there Wrestlecon can be expensive. Admission is $33-$40 depending on when you buy your ticket and you have to pay per autograph/photo op which is about $20-40 each if they aren't big names, professional photo ops will cost more. I spent close to $600 at Wrestlecon but it was worth it since i actually was able to spend some time talking to the majority of wrestlers that i met and the handlers made sure i got a great picture when i bought a photo op.

I was just discussing WrestleCon with someone on Twitter. My best advice is to spread the impact of what you spend over a few months. Those $40-$50 combos add up quickly. Add on the professional photos at $75+. Once these items go on sale, try to buy early. If a wrestler can't make it to the event, you'll get a refund. If you can't make it, sell your ticket. Don't wait until that weekend to start buying meet and greets.
Also, make sure you have cash before entering the hotel that WrestleCon is in. There is no guarantee the ATMs around the building will have cash.
Professional photos can have up to 2 people in a photo (I know it's multiple people, but it may actually be 4 max), save money by splitting the cost of the photo with a friend. I was able to save money and get more pro photos because I split the cost of my Sting, and Edge & Christian photo shoots.
Plan your time wisely. Meeting wrestlers is cool, but make sure you go out and experience NOLA. It's a great city with so much to do. Check out Trip Advisor for activities and then look up those activities on Groupon to save $$$.
These are just a few tips off the top of my head.

This will be my 4th Mania and I've yet to do a travel package.
I've looked into it but I've been pretty lucky getting everything individually.
