2 hours 40 is literally the perfect amount of time for a PPV. Great to be back at old cut off times.

I might be in the minority here but I don't think it was the right move to throw the strap on AJ just yet. They threw away 3 months of buildup and a payoff to just play to the crowd at the arena in fear of a backlash. No pun intended.
I think that's the real problem is wwe is throwing away months of story development lately just to give these marks instant gratification because they don't understand the concept of a payoff and development.
It's all about now now now and if we don't get something now then it sucks.
I also find it fickle that people were bashing Ambrose for being a boring champ when they were all over his d*ck when he won the title. The same guys who is see on this board who were with him are all of a sudden begging for the title to change hands.

I'd give backlash a 9/10, although I think we will look back 6 to 7 years from now and say "Slater and Rhyno were the 1st SD tag team champions?!?!!?!?

Styles and Nakamura are two of my favorites in WWE today. Owens is probably on the bottom. Oh lol, I like styles and Owens and haven't accepted Shinsuke yet and I don't know if I will. Exactly the same here, I'm not an Indy follower. Only watched WWE since 01 and TNA 04-10 Owens won me over within weeks. He's amazing. AJ didn't need to win me over , but he has even more so than before. And is currently performing like a Shawn Michaels in his prime. My god man. Shinsuke tho....ugh. I've been trying so hard to get into him and just can't. He doesn't do anything for me. I'd take Kota or Hideo over him as their top Japanese star any day of the week

Heels do whatever it takes to win, he was too hot not to go over tonight. Plus the storyline continues because of how it ended. I agree, fans shouldn't be bashing Dean, he did nothing wrong as champion. I enjoyed his reign, and there will be another one eventually.

I had no clue who Nakamura was when he came NXT, but I really don't see anything special. I see stiff kicks and a boogeyman like charisma.

This was AJ's third shot at the title and he just beat John Cena clean at SummerSlam. Putting the title on him was a logical decision.

Other than Kane going over Bray (for no real reason) and SlaterGore winning the tag titles... It was a damn good show.

Ric Flair Big Show Kurt Angle Brock Lesnar AJ Styles The only men to win the WWE Title in their first year. Styles and Angle are the only men to hold the TNA, IWGP and WWE Titles. I think the fact that AJ won after being in TNA is far more impressive than what Kurt did, honestly. Splitting hairs, but Vince has officially let THE TNA guy into his bed. I would say AJ also has the only legitimate claim to that feat. While Lesnar had the actual belt, he was stripped of the IWGP Championship on July 15, 2006 and Angle would beat him on June 29, 2007 for a belt, that I'm pretty sure, only Inoki was claiming to be the actual IWGP Title.

Sucks that WWE has such little respect for the women that they didn't even bother having an actual belt made for the Smackdown women's championship....using a REPLICA BELT from WWESHOP! Ugh. Poor Becky. What gave it away that it was a replica? I thought It didn't look right though.. The WWEShop patch on the back of the belt, the plastic gems, the stitching around the "leather" and the sewn on snap boxes.....looks like total crap. The crap fake leather also has no give to it whatsoever.....stiff as a board.

A little too early to take the title off Dean and Styles should have won his first title on a bigger stage. They are just trying play to the audience in the crowd over developing a drawn out story as of late. Today wasn't the prime example but I've seen it so much these past few months.

I agree to an extent but if the intention is to give the strap back to Ambrose then it's an okay move to have Styles win tonight.. just not my preferred one. They've also gotten themselves into a difficult position because they finally gave a guy who wasn't totally established like AJ a clean win over Cena at a major PPV.. so losing to Ambrose would have been a momentum killer, unfortunately. I'd prefer to see Ambrose win the title back at the next Smackdown PPV, retain for one and drop it at the next to AJ.. 4 matches, a score of 2-2 and move on with both guys built further on their road to stardom.

Hell, Even for a replica, it looked horrible.

I didn't want Deano to lose the title but if he had to drop it to someone I wanted it to be to AJ
