That was a damn good show. Everything delivered IMO.
Even Bray/Kane was good despite being a last minute change and the fact that Bray really needs to stop losing...
But overall that was a great show. I enjoyed EVERYTHING which is more than I can say for a lot of the PPV's this year.

Has anyone ever won a world title before having a Mattel figure released of themselves yet ? Sheamus won the title before his figure came out.

I only saw 1 nakamura match before he signed with nxt and that was the styles match which was mind blowingly good. In nxt i grew to like him instantly. I know he is odd but I don't get the boogeyman thing at all. Hell Finn is more boogeyman than Nakamura is.

This is still so surreal to me...14 years ago, when the hell did I ever think I would have ever been able to, factually, say, "AJ Styles is the WWE World Champion??!?"

Good match. I'm a Dean fan but he probably needs a tweak in character a little bit. I don't neccesrily think a heel turn is needed but he needs something. The crowds seem to feel the same way. Styles is already super over with the crowd but I was at Summerslam and Ambrose was getting boos in the match with Ziggler.

Overall, very solid show. Only thing I would have changed was let Bray get a freaking win! Have the interaction with Orton happen after the bell. Seems like someone in creative really has it out for Wyatt. Btw, MattelDesignTeam, could you please start working on heel Usos elites and a Harley Quinn Alexa? Thank you very much.

Didn't watch the PPV, too busy watching football and seeing my Pats win! But glad to hear AJ Styles is the new WWE Champion, very much deserved!

My work finally got wifi and we had some down time during the Corbin Crews match . And damn. That was some awesome stuff. Two of my current favs giving their all. Corbin has been working hard as and it's obvious. He needs a major push soon. As does Crews. That's what I was hoping this draft would lead to, after all.

Exactly the same here, I'm not an Indy follower. Only watched WWE since 01 and TNA 04-10 Owens won me over within weeks. He's amazing. AJ didn't need to win me over , but he has even more so than before. And is currently performing like a Shawn Michaels in his prime. My god man. Shinsuke tho....ugh. I've been trying so hard to get into him and just can't. He doesn't do anything for me. I'd take Kota or Hideo over him as their top Japanese star any day of the week I've only watch wwe since '06 and I would occasionally watch tna. I had no clue who Nakamura was when he came NXT, but I really don't see anything special. I see stiff kicks and a boogeyman like charisma. That's what Strong Style is.

AJ STYLES!!!
I love it!! I just can't believe it!
The first time I ever saw AJ Style wrestle was Styles vs. Raven vs. Jarrett for the NWA World Title. I bought the TNA PPV with a friend since it was $10 then, and I immediately became a fan of AJ Styles that night in June of 2003.
Fast forward now to September 2016, and I can finally say that AJ Styles is the WWE World Champion! I just love it!! Smackdown is the number 1 show for WWE, no doubt about it!
Also, as for the entire PPV, I loved it!
The women's 6 pack challenge was like 20 minutes of amazing moves, and I don't even think I saw one botch. If there was a botch, it was covered up pretty damn good. I am looking forward to the Nikki vs. Carmella feud though! I am okay with Becky being Women's Champion too.
Miz vs. Ziggler delivered. May have been best match of the night for story telling.
The Usos are delivering already as heels! They get it! No more playing to the crowd, or face paint, or fancy bright colours. Loved it!
Kane vs. Bray was good, and the RKO run in was great! Fans seemed pleased. Orton selling that ankle injury the entire time was so old school.
Slater and Rhyno being the first tag champions is very unexpected, but I like it. However, I gotta feeling they probably won't be champions for long. I wouldn't be shocked if they lost them this Tuesday. Hope not, but it could happen.
And Styles vs. Ambrose was pretty damn good. I wouldn't mind seeing these two go at it again in a rematch.
So Clash of Champions has a lot of work to do if they wanna compete with the Backlash PPV event!

I didn't see the PPV tonight, but I'm glad to hear that AJ versus Dean delivered like I knew it would. I was hoping they'd wait a few months before having Dean lose the title to AJ, though. For one thing, this feud was put together so quickly with little to no build, and I would've rather seen it gain a lot more steam before the title changed hands. Also, I can easily see Ambrose getting lost in the shuffle now that he's not champion anymore. My biggest concern for SD now is that Cena winds up going right back to the main event scene to feud with AJ over the title, which I really have no interest in seeing. Everything they've done so far since SummerSlam, though, has led me to believe that Cena is going to come back and continue his feud with Styles and eventually have his big redemption moment where he beats Styles for the title. Meanwhile, Ambrose will get stuck feuding with Miz for the US Title or something. If all of that winds up happening, then I think tonight was a major step in the wrong direction. What should happen is Ambrose and AJ continue to feud over the title for the rest of the year, while mixing Cena in for a Triple Threat Match at Survivor Series or something.

Saw part of the ppv. Thought Dean vs Anbrose was alright and it was cool to see Slator and Rhyno win. However, it didn't seem like a ppv to me, it just felt like a smackdown. I think the arena has something to do with it, it just looks compressed and small.

Laughed so hard at Ziggler/Miz recreating Punk's UFC fight.
So happy for AJ Styles. He is THE man.
