That seller should be ashamed of themselves! If you're a reputable seller or looking to be one, sending a friggin $50 item like this is unacceptable! I really don't care what the cost of the item, ship it in a sturdy mailer! But especially for items over/at the $50 mark should not only be packaged right but insured!!!
May I ask how much shipping/handling he charged you? It really doesn't matter what price or even if it was free lol. Just curious. I've heard sellers say "I offered free shipping. I'll ship any way I want to." NO! NO! NO! NOOOOOO lmfao. Just no! I don't care if shipping is free or if it's $100, the item should be packaged appropriately either way. Shame on this seller!

To be fair, had the glue not given up its have been fine. You say he used foam that would protect it. The shipping company should handle with care. It's a no brainier with regards to getting your money back though That's kind of the point though. The glue didn't hold up. Those envelopes are not made to ship that kind of cargo. Should have splurged for a bubble mailer. Yeah suppose. What a tool. lol poor Bundy

Ask the mailman, there's a chance it fell out in the office or truck...although it also might be at the distribution center...or lying in a ditch

Too bad. This happened to me once. I'd ordered a loose MOTUC Wun-Dar off of eBay. Package showed up with the weapons only, no figure. Seller was convinced I was pulling a fast one and we went round and round dealing with it. Bummed me out and it put me off of buying on eBay for quite awhile.

This stuff really grinds my gears. Your sending something through the mail, use proper packaging!
A box or padded envelope, bubble wrap and tape - It isn't brain surgery or splitting an atom! I hope everything works out for you, and you can get another Bundy figure.

It's all the fault of the seller. You can tell by the envelope that the glue just dried up and broke on that envelope. Either it was an old envelope or it was the heat combined with the fact that the figure was too bulky and heavy to be shipped that way. Even if it hadn't broke, it's still a sucky way to send an action figure that I paid $50 for. LAZINESS... when I send a fig I wrap him in cellophane, tape it then put him in the mailer and then TAPE the mailer with heavy tape too. Takes no time...that's awful I'd have been LIVID!!! How does a mailman EVEN DELIVER an empty OPEN envelope? Dunno maybe he thought I bought the two pieces of foam inside.

Bundy goes for $50 now? I got him MOC for $22 with prime after New Years. I'm sure you can get him for less but I was feeling impulsive and bought a bunch of older legends figures last week with Paypal credit.

Shipping was free. That's still very s*itty on the seller. He should have both insured the package and bought a bubble wrap self seal pack. They're what like 3 for $1 at the Dollar General. And shame on the USPS for this. They could clearly tell the package had split open. I don't mean to put a damper on it more but who knows where the heck Bundy fell out at. I had an issue with the USPS two years ago. They literally just lost a package at my local office. The tracking just stopped at my office and never updated again. How the heck do you just lose a package?!?! It's unacceptable.

I do the same. I use the ones with just a top and bottom and tape them up even after i use the sticky. I used to wrap them in a newspaper and never had a problem either That sucks man. I had a customer send me a check last week and it came all mangled up from the post office machine. Had to call the guy and ask for a new one Plastic grocery bags works too. I have a few million of them. Normally I ship figures in boxes, even when they're loose, but yeah...plastic grocery bags work wonderfully as padding! I can't believe he didn't even use a bubble mailer though.

Well that sucks, to pay over the odds for a figure only to not receive it in the end. I'd contact the seller about what happened and hope there's some way you can be compensated. $50 is a lot to spend on a figure, much less an envelope of foam.
That said, whenever I ship things, I always use a bubble mailer or just ship in a box.

Damn that's a bummer
I've only got a figure one time in a envelope like that from eBay idk why anybody wouldn't use a bubble mailer

It amazes me that more people don't. They're free and work perfectly!

Seller/Shippers fault. Seller needs to take pride in packing in the appropriate manner to ensure delivery as well as arrival in good condition.
Seller here went cheap and lazy.
