Didn't know Glenn used to be a member here. His customs were awesome, especially his Nailz custom. Rip

Terrible news. My GF and I have done multiple marathons of his videos. Sad day. We will greatly miss him.

Glenn Webb was such a huge part of our collector community that I would like to request the just bought/good deal thread be renamed the "thats going straight in my basket" thread. That was one his most iconic phrases he would say. It'd be a good way to remember him by on these forums where he obviously had a huge following. Just a suggestion.

RIP, this video is fine example of what an action figure channel should be about

Extremely sad. I feel horrible for his family, RIP.
Edit: hadn't seen his videos before I heard of his passing, just watched some and saw how much detail and care he put into them. How awfully sad.

I'm glad we got him to 100k This guy seemed like a massive Mattel fan and I really want them to do something special like they've done to other people

man that sucks, so who still does legitimate figure reviews now (Grims Toy Show doesn't count cause he's god awful) BurnoutInc & TheReviewSpot do pretty good reviews. Even though TheReviewSpot is rarely reviewing Wrestling figs.

My wife's father was as healthy as could seemingly be and led a very active lifestyle. Then one day he just dropped over. Internal stuff can be so tricky. There was probably no clear indicators to make him think anything was wrong at all.
I had heard the name but never seen his videos. Still, these videos, when done right, can be a blessing for many. A guide to helping save or spend money and facilitate this hobby for people on budgets. It was a good thing to take the time to do and share in a passionate community. RIP.

Never heard of the guy but I think this thread should be the official tribute or remembering Glenn thread IMO.

If I weren't for Glenn, I never would've done arms swaps or head swaps on any custom or fix up.

To me, Glenn was bar none the best figure reviewer on YouTube. He's the one who convinced me to give Marvel Legends a try which are my go-tos whenever the MAttel well gets dry. I discovered him from his fantastic Nailz custom (Which in tribute I might take a whack at) and decided to go deeper down the rabbit hole to see what else he's done, and I loved his style: informative but quirky, willing to delve into whatever he was reviewing. The last thing he replied to me was about who he wanted to win the Cruiserweight Classic (We both were rooting for Sabre Jr.)
There'll never be another Glenn out there. Shartimus is okay but can be over-the-top at times, AnthonysCustoms is good if you want a more critical look at figures but sometimes he doesn't see the forest for the trees, and Burnoutinc does some badass customs and pretty good reviews. As for Grim, I think he owns one of Glenn's customs, Bertha Faye IIRC., and the two were good friends, even if Grim doesn't do serious reviews (Probably pandering to the multitude of kids who watch him). Glenn actually inspired me to think about reviewing figures, but I have no idea if I'd be any good or live up to his legacy, but I'm willing to give it a shot.
RIP Glenn, I know you're up there rubbing elbows with Andre the Giant and The Warrior
