VERY shocked at this. His first comment...fine. But taking a shot at an autistic kid?! WTF?! Have you no soul man? I have listened to him on ESPN radio many times. He has always came across as an intelligent, well spoken and well thought out journalist. This makes him look like an ass.

Sadly I don't see ESPN doing much about this. Idk, dude.. It would be different if he apologized after realizing his mistake and realizing that KO's son was autistic.. But this dude has DOUBLED DOWN and continued his sh*theadedness towards everything WWE and Kevin Owens related. ESPN also has a good relationship with WWE, so they might not put up with his immaturity.

Sadly I don't see ESPN doing much about this. They made him apologize last year for asking a pornstar on a date on a radio show because she followed him on twitter. That's the type of guy he is. Twitter got pissed cause he's married so ESPN made him apologize for being a creep. if they don't do anything for this well then I guess everyone will know where they stand.

This dumbass needs to go shave some more lines into the side of his head and take a long walk off of a short pier.
This dumbass needs to make like a tree, and get outta here.
This dumbass needs to put an egg in his shoe and beat it.
This dumbass needs to make like Tom and Cruise.
This dumbass surely has some offs to go f**k.
Seriously. Dude is a creep and a dumbass. Did he honestly think Mia Khalifa (who I would totally ask out on a date, but she'd have to pay because I'm broke as hell)would want anything to do with his dumbass just because she followed him on Twitter?
You're really gonna go after a kid who is proud of their dad for accomplishing a goal? Too many people wanna be Howard Stern nowadays. But this PC world these days won't allow it and it always backfires.
But at the end of the day, KO wins because he's a good guy with good kids and wife that's ten different shades out of everyone's league.

I don't understand the outrage. I doubt the guy new the kid was autistic and so what if he did. He was making a stupid, old, tired joke about wrestling being fake. He really wasn't making fun of the kid. He was making fun of wrestling and the fans and that is nothing new. Much ado about nothing IMO.

While you have to be pretty damn sad to mock any 8 year old child for being a wrestling fan and being excited for and proud of his dad, he obviously didn't know the boy had autism, the fans defending Owens are the ones who played that card. That being said, I'm not making excuses for the guy, he's obviously an insecure ing low life.

If this was on TV I'd definitely seeing ESPN take action much like that guy on First Take saying RG3 wasn't black nor "down with the cause." Since this was simply tweets I don't think anything will come of it. It would actually be a sad world if people get punished for tweets. Image and professionalism on social media is the sole responsibility of the person in question, not his employer. I can't stand this dude who made the comments and I wish he'd get some sort of punishment, but it isn't happening.

To me the problem is that after he was informed about the autism he made another comment directly referencing the autism.

He apologized for nothing and he looks like a complete POS.

He was finally forced to apologize. Which is hilarious and probably pissed him off because he clearly doesn't mean it since he was still doubling down this morning.

At least Owen Steen's dad stuck around to watch his kid grow up and teach him right from wrong. Jealously can do ugly things to an already stupid person.
