I don't have Titter, but he apologized.

I don't have Titter, but he apologized. He definitely didn't do that out of the goodness of his heart.. Someone had a nice long chat with him. ESPN might have become a sh*t network with terrible coverage of all sports.. But one thing they DO NOT do is burn bridges or attempt to ruin business partnerships. Also, ESPN is owned by Disney.. You can't have a Disney employee making fun of an autistic kid. He apologized, sure.. But I wouldn't be shocked if he eventually gets canned.

I don't understand the outrage. I doubt the guy new the kid was autistic and so what if he did. He was making a stupid, old, tired joke about wrestling being fake. He really wasn't making fun of the kid. He was making fun of wrestling and the fans and that is nothing new. Much ado about nothing IMO. I couldn't care less about making fun of wrestling fans. Let's face it...we are a weird bunch overall. I've been through times when it was cool and not cool to like wrestling in my past 30-odd years of being a fan. My issue was the fact that he wanted to make fun of KO's son for being proud of his dad. It doesn't matter if wrestling is scripted. He's a kid who probably thinks his father still hangs the moon. He's his hero. Don't take that away. To me the problem is that after he was informed about the autism he made another comment directly referencing the autism. Hell, I didn't even know the boy had autism either. When it was pointed out, all the guy had to say was "this isn't about that, I was just making a joke about wrestling." if he didn't want to flat out apologize.
