Pick a year where you would add ten more entrants based on the rosters back then?
Or you could remove ten guys from the 2011 Royal Rumble?
If I was to add ten people to the 2016 Royal Rumble they would be: Adam Rose Bad News Barrett Big E Bo Dallas Fandango Heath Slater Kalisto Sin Cara Xavier Woods Zack Ryder

Royal Rumble 2000. I would've added Taka, Funaki, Thrasher, Mark Henry, Mean Street Posse, Prince Albert and The Hardy Boyz.
I remember that night Lawler said their was a lot of disappointed superstars that didn't get into the Rumble.

I remember in 2011 when they mentioned how they were going to have a 40 man Royal Rumble I thought it was cool. But after watching it I realized that 40 men is just too much. I will stick with 30. But I do know a lot of times they wasted spots on people who shouldn't have been in the Rumble match. Take 2005 for example, when Jonathan Coachman had a spot in the Rumble over the likes of Rhyno, or Rob Conway, or Sylvan Grenier.
And then in 2012 I think, when Michael Cole, Jerry Lawler and Booker T went in it from ringside. If they did 40 men all the time, we would get a bunch of ridiculous entrees, even worse than we already get now.

40 men is too much. The 2011 Rumble was absolutely dire to watch.

I agree 40 is a bit too much, also hate seeing spots in the Rumble wasted to old timers and ring announcers who have 0% chance of winning. It's great to some past wrestlers come back, but guys like Snuka, Duggan, etc. shouldn't be in the Rumble.

Royal Rumble should be Full WWE Roster IMO even if that means having 40+ people

The ONLY reason they did the 40 man Rumble was because the initial Rumble was only 20 men. Now every single Rumble averages to 30 men. I bet that within the next few years the WWE won't even acknowledge that the 40 man rumble ever even happened.

My ideal Rumble where I would have had 40 men would have been this year 2016 and in that Rumble I would have added
Bad News Barrett (representing League of Nations) Big E (New Day member) Kurt Angle (surprise entrant) Fandango Heath Slater Kalisto Sin Cara Xavier Woods (New Day member) Zack Ryder

I think it was the 1993 Rumble and the 1997 Rumble where wwf brought in men from other promotions for the Rumble. It was a fresh and interesting idea. If wwe did go to 40 every year they should bring in men from dif promotions to fill those 10 spots.
