This has promise. Seems like you know what you're dong. But try and stylise your posts better. Use a logo, some better formatting, add in some color, etc. As for the news posts, I like them but I would recommend you combine them into a more grouped-up news update post. That's all!

EDITOR'S NOTE: First off, I want to thank DTP. for being the first to provide feedback and for being friendly about it. This is the first diary I've attempted so there will definitely be improvements as I'm working through it, how fast they come depends on how much free time I get. I should clarify (cause I never did a 'welcome to the diary') that there are some things I do because I feel like a lot of diaries look exactly alike and I think it's good to have a mix.
1) Pictures are a nice touch and can make the page flow but I think people get carried away with over formatting and it can still end up being a mess when there's literally a picture for everything (I'm aware that to the contrary I don't have pics for anything - that is likely to change).
2) My goal with this diary isn't as much to give you a story akin to a novel (some people take this approach and are fantastic at it) but more to give you the results & facts and let you see how the world naturally unfolds. At times there will probably be a little more insight into the WCW creative because it is ultimately a WCW diary but I think giving insight into WWF's overall direction is key to the story because they are #1 and that's where I am trying to steer WCW. I want this diary to feel more like you are reading a wrestling newsletter than a story book. That's just the approach I'm taking, not saying it's better, I think having different approaches is what makes a board like this interesting.
3) I am trying to figure out a better system for the news reports but I don't want to lose the chronological feeling. As an example, I run Nitro live on Monday, then I get the rating the following day, I always advance to Tuesday before posting the results instead of posting Nitro results and then putting the rating in the news update because to me it just makes more sense to have all the info for the show condensed there. So you can look at Nitro from one week and then scroll up or down to the next Nitro post and compare, rather than having to sift through news updates for ratings comparisons. I don't want to post a month of behind the scenes happenings and ratings and what not and then have one show post. I am working on figuring out a better method for news, it's one my top priorities with this.
4) At the beginning of each month (in the sim calendar), I'll post a state of the big two, mainly listing out the champions but also posting any big news updates and previews for the beginning of the month. I believe this is going to help a good bit with housekeeping and helping the reader focus on the bigger picture. Anytime a title changes hands in WWF, it will be noted in the weekly updates but the first post of the month will spell everything out as far who's being pushed in both companies.
I appreciate anyone who checks this diary out and I hope you keep reading. Thank you again DTP. for your nice feedback and I hope you stick around to see what happens and are able to enjoy the improvements that are made as I work through this sim. I intend to stick to this for a while so hopefully we can all see it grow and I can keep it an interesting, well edited, read.

WCW -- WCW is opening up it's own developmental promotion soon based in the South Eastern United States. Bill Dundee and Danny Davis have been brought onboard to oversee the day to day operations. The company has already been aggressive in recent weeks about trying to sign talent who are with USWA and/or Smoky Mountain Wrestling, and they are now offering developmental contracts. Steve Corino and Lance Storm are among those who have reportedly been contacted.

WWF -- Monday's RAW did a 13.45 rating (8,744,800 viewers) with Jerry Lawler going to a no contest against Diesel in the main event.
WCW -- Macho Man returned from his elbow injury at Monday's Nitro, doing a promo in front of the live crowd before the show went on the air. He basically told the people to buy the Pay Per View because he'd be on it, he didn't appear on the television broadcast.
Brian Christopher and PG-13 worked in the dark matches at Monday's Nitro. Brian Christopher was said to be under the influence of something and was sent to rehab, so he's off to a rocky start. PG-13 is going to be sent to WCW's brand new developmental territory.
Curt Hennig was signed this week to come on as a color commentator. He'll be calling Saturday Night as well as Main Event (which are taped on the same day). Dusty Rhodes will be moving out of the booth and into a behind the scenes role as an agent. Tony Schiavone will also be replacing Mongo on Nitro. So the line up as of now is as follows: Nitro - Bischoff, Heenan, Schiavone Saturday Night - Schiavone, Hennig Main Event - Schiavone, Hennig, Tenay
Hiroshe Hase and The Great Sasuke were both signed to exclusive deals this week.
