Tony Romo would rather never play football again than play QB for the Texans.
That's hilarious.

Well, if there's one thing you all know about me, it's that I can't STAND a QB who waffles back and forth about retirement....

Dan Rooney has died at the age of 84. Man did a lot for the Steelers, Pittsburgh, the NFL and was an ambassador for the US to boot. Real shame.

Tony Romo would rather never play football again than play QB for the Texans. That's hilarious. I think I'd rather flip burgers than play for the Texans, honestly. Or live in Texas for that matter. Can't say I blame him. Let him get the tar sacked out of him and probably miss half of the season with injuries on a non-playoff team. I'd retire and call it a career, and get into broadcasting like he did. He should do well there.

Aaron Hernandez *WAS* an NFL football player and he *WAS* a bad person who did bad things. I get the hate.
BUT let's not bog down the NFL thread with any more posts giving him the attention he doesn't deserve. He was no longer an NFL player and was serving time in prison until his death. That should be enough. The system worked, he paid the price for his actions, and now he is dead. In other words, keep it to "RIP Hernandez" or "Got what he deserved" if you must make your opinion known.
END OF STORY.
Shiva is hungry and posts that cross the line will be eaten.

I feel like the only place you don't normally see Gronk at anymore is on a football field.

Opening Night. In Foxborough. On my birthday of all days. Should be a good one.
I seem to remember the last time we met on an opening day...

Four things I spotted while looking at the schedules:
- The Falcons hope opener being a Sunday night game is a smart choice - A Super Bowl rematch on my birthday on Sunday Night. I can see the rating being high for that game. Wished it was taking place in Atlanta than in Foxboro. - The Giants playing on Thanksgiving - The Eagles hosing the last Monday Night game on Christmas
Strange seeing six teams go on a bye week. Normally it is two or four.
