Panthers are up for sale. Should WFigs get a GoFundMe going and all of us chip in to buy them? WE can even sell “shares” to people who donate to really kick up donations

I don't want to dwell too much on the Patriots/Steelers game, mostly because I don't want to incur the wrath of bad guy™, but I am getting a real kick out of the debate over James non-catch at the end of the game on a certain ESPN talk show. One of the esteemed debaters *cough*MaxKellerman*cough* seems to think that falling down constitutes making a football action while the other *cough*StephenASmith*cough* thinks James was down at the half yard line because his knee hit the ground, forgetting that there was no contact with a Patriot so he wouldn't have been down under any circumstance. And don't get me started on *cough*alwayswrongMolly*cough* with her snippy comments. As for me, I'm as confused as ever to what constitutes a catch in the NFL. It sure looked like a touchdown to me but as a Patriots fan I'll accept the refs call. Also, the non-catch wasn't as bad as the Steelers not spiking the ball, making a FG, and going to OT. Isn't a rule of thumb in situations like yesterday's game that the home team plays for a tie and OT while the road team plays for the win?

Was watching the game with my parents and thought it might get called back when I first saw the slow motion replay and saw the ball hit the ground before he "completed" the catch. My dad thought it was just wishful thinking by me since in our family picks I had NE and he had Pitt. I get not spiking the ball on third down but Ben should have thrown it away when the WR ran a slant pattern. If something came open make the throw, but when nothing does he should have thrown the ball high and out of the endzone.
The NFL wanted this game to be a big and important game and the got it. Gronk should have been suspended for more than one game and over the last two weeks Pittsburgh had a couple of bad call go their way that helped them win. In the Cincinnati game a terrible holding call erased a big TD for the Bengals. Now NE and Pitt are tied and both still could be the #1 seed if Pitt had won it would have been over and it would be Jack and NE battle for the #2 seed.

It’s a dumb rule. I don’t like it, but it was called correctly.

I don't understand the debate about the James catch/no catch.
I question how much football people have watched over the last 5 yrs if they think it was a TD. He did far less than Dez did on his play. I can show a very similar play from D. Freeman yrs ago that was ruled incomplete and others. They have been consistent with this.
I dislike both teams, but the rule was applied correctly. I honestly said it wasn't a catch from the 1st replay, from the 1 angle, while Romo/Nantz were running their mouth about why review it.
Was it catch in basic terms? Yes. In today's NFL? No.

While I hate New England more than anything, it was the right call. They need to change that rule. They also need to take power of review away from Riveron. I mean seriously, one guy gets to decide the reviews? Nah can’t fix or rig games that way at all.

Rivers over Alexander Smith is some bull****. Alex will be busy getting ready for the big game the week after so he could go any way. That or he takes Brady or Ben's place when they are.

Really conflicted on whether I even want the Titans to make the playoffs or blow an 8-4 record so Mike Mularkey gets fired. They'll probably miss and extend him though.
