So I put together my first Detolf display case and unfortunetely the two little magnetic stubs that holds the door shut wont go into their holes. The holes are too tight, I browsed about on the internet to see if this has been reported before and surprisingly some other folks have reported the same problem. Im going to try a rubber mallet tomorrow to hammer them in but I really shouldnt have to do this and its rather annoying because everything else assembled fine. Anyone else ever had this problem with a detolf?

I have two. Did you reverse the top and bottom?

I wonder if you got the base and the top mixed up. The only magnets though I remember are in the glass doors though.

I've built 7 of them over the past few years. I had this problem the first time I built one. The holes are purposely too small so when you force them in the magnets won't fall out (mainly the upside down one). Before I start building them now I take a hammer and gently hammer them in place before doing anything else. That way you don't have to worry about breaking the glass once you put everything together.
