Did not know where to post this really, as they are not figures. But feel free to move it to right board. I came across these WWE buddies style of Warrior, macho and Andre. I was not aware of these till now, and they look really cool imo. These were shown back in 2011, what happened?? why did they pull the plug on them?? I would have loved to have these, especially that Warrior, what a shame.

It was their yearly tease , like the Gobbeldy Gooker figure, RKO Statue, Zombie Hogan, etc. basically something cool that they showed , but never actually planned to release. I do have a Wrestling Buddy of a personal legend of line, RYBACK So I'm all set

What a dumb idea. What's the point. Why show them if you can't buy them. It's like going to a candy store. Looking . And wait a minute. There is a sign. Sorry not for sale. Er. Er. Like I said what's the point.

These would've sold so much better than the people they did make. Everybody wanted Punk and they wouldn't make him either, but they made sure we got a Brody's Clay one smh

They were just display pieces for the convention. They do them most years. If the interest from the public and retailers is strong enough, they may end up being produced. In most cases, like this one, that hasn't happened.

When mattel hands you awesome... I made awesome-ade. I only made two each of these. Pretty cool pieces if i do say so myself. Those brawlin buddies and the new buddies are hideous. For the life of me I don't understand who looks at the old ones and goes "Nah... that'll never work again"...

Maybe they were protos that were made & proposed for mass production but rejected....
Kind of cool that they showed them, but yes quite a tease...

These would be way better than the no neck cena or the potato rock pillows.
