Brock Lesnar has been built as a monster. Virtually every person on the roster has fallen victim to his destruction and has been taken to Suplex City. So if he is beaten he will be beaten by someone and they will most likely be set for the rest of the career as the guy who beat the guy who ended the streak and decimated the roster.
The question is, who should it be? Who should pin Brock Lesnar and be cemented as a star, and the guy who beat Brock Lesnar?

I would say Nakamura. In terms of credibility and believability I think he is the only guy that could do it at this pointm

Nakamura to me seems as the only halfway credible person to do it.

Goldberg, but I would also like to see Demon Balor give it a try.

ANYONE!
Seriously though, I'll take anyone. Give me Joe, Owens, Styles, Balor, Cesaro, Sheamus, Harper, or even a WM rematch with Dean or Roman. Cena, Triple H, Undertaker and even Goldberg don't need the rub like some of the newer talent does. It has to be someone who is going to be around for years to come. Someone who will benefit from it.

Why would you waste potentially the biggest win of an up and coming star's victory on a 50 year old hack like Goldberg? It's not believable. Why oh ing why?

What makes shinsuke, balor, or Zayn believable? Joe is believeable, but he is in no way is an up and comer. A) Goldberg hasn't competed in 12 years. Why in the hell would it make sense for him to come back and beat a guy who has reeked havoc on the entire roster for the last 4 years, on top of that he's old. B) from a booking standpoint, it's a big disservice to give that win to somebody who won't benefit from it long term. Goldberg slays, the beast, then what? He's retired for good and that whole build up of Lesnar and him ending the streak was just to eventually feed Goldberg? You need to give that win to a guy who needs it to solidify his status. The way I look at it is the importance of the steak and that aura is dead, and it lives in Brock now since he ended it. So from a booking standpoint, he's the guy to beat, if you beat him, you're made. Guys like Bálor, Joe, or Nakamura would reep the benefits of that victory for the rest of their careers. And from a casual fan standpoint (which I'm not) Joe is an up and comer, just because me and you are familiar with Joe, the majority of the fan base isn't going to be. So I'm their eyes, he's the new kid on the block.
