I just picked up Renee Young at TRU. If I put a microphone in her hand, over time will it damage the plastic in her hand? My fear is that the giant mic handle over time will bend her hand out of shape so much that her fingers eventually crack. I mean the plastic is only so pliable, right? Has anyone seen any risk of this in their own Renees?

Na I don't think so. Could always heat & cook it to shrink it down

You could always sand the handle of the mic down some if this is a concern for you.

What else would you need her hand to perform? Holding a mic is more or less all she does.

I wouldn't worry about it. I would imagine that you would have to do some serious bending to the hand and on a regular basis to damage it the way you are thinking.

This thread reminded me I have a Renee Young figure somewhere.

My elite Kalistos thumb fell off after carrying a MITB breifcase for a month or so. So yeah I wouldn't be surprised. I always have my Renee holding a mic
