Just watched Rob Zombie's new movie 31. I ALMOST didn't get through it, but I kept watching and I'm glad I did. The reason I almost stopped was because this movie starts the same way all of his movies do. All of the characters are trashy, swear for no reason, make awful sex jokes, and there are pointless sex scenes. When I got to the scene at the gas station, I rolled my eyes so bad and couldn't imagine what director would want to put some of these scenes and lines in a movie. It is that cringeworthy.
Once the movie gets to the main story inside the house, it is very enjoyable. It has plenty of action, killing and gore. Solid villains too, they all play their part well. So if you are thinking of seeing this movie or want a fun gory movie to watch, I would recommend it, just try and get past the first 15-20 minutes without shutting it off.
Rob Zombie has weird talent, I just don't get why he can't make a movie without a million swears, a bunch of pointless sex scenes and awful dialogue.

Because he's Rob Zombie.
If he was paired with someone to filter out some of his bullcrap he could be amazing. His Halloween remake is damn good but a lot of people can't look past the more vulgar parts of it.

I'm glad you let me know about this! A movie with Freddy "Boom Boom" Washington, Holly from "They Live" & Alex from "Clockwork Orange"? Hell yeah, I'm gonna see this!
