LeeRoy sat at the bar staring at his Budweiser. A loud cheer snapped him out of thought, he looked up to see the replay of the Titan’s touchdown. LeeRoy went back to his beer. While he loved football, he was different than most of the locals in that he had not jumped on board with the Titans when they moved to Tennessee. They may be the closest team for him geographically, but he never felt like they were HIS team. They’d always be the Oilers to him.
LeeRoy was thinking about his first victory in the WFWF. In the moment he was ecstatic that he not only had won, but he had qualified for the Golden Opportunity, and that he was going to finally get his hands on Frank, in a match with weapons no less. But now, He was just kind of pissed. That douchey pedophile Dachs had LITERALLY ridden on him to victory. LeeRoy had pinned Vass, not Dachs, Dachs had just laid on top of the pile, and they had advanced him. LeeRoy decided that he’d need to save a little bit for Maxwell instead of only Frank. LeeRoy finished his beer, laid a twenty on the bar, and headed for his truck
As LeeRoy pulled onto the old gravel road that wound up the mountain to his trailer, he noticed it was cool out, perfect weather to make ‘Shine, and LeeRoy decided he would need to make a supply run tomorrow to get the ingredients. Out of the corner of his eye he saw a reflection of his headlights in the eyes of a deer. It reminded him that deer season was this weekend, LeeRoy loved just sitting in nature waiting for one to come by the stand. If he was lucky enough to get one he could save a TON of money on groceries throughout the fall. LeeRoy smiled to himself, here he was, being paid by the WFWF, and he was still working out ways to save money. He couldn’t help it, if you grow up in the mountains of Appalachia like he did, you learned early the value of a dollar.
As LeeRoy pulled up to the trailer, he noticed a car there. Not just any car. A county sheriff car. LeeRoy felt hi pulse quicken. He didn’t have any moonshine or equipment at the trailer, so there was no reason for him to be nervous, but he still was. He put the car in park and stepped out.
“Put your hands where I can see them you dadgum sonofagun” the voice said over the loudspeaker.
LeeRoy grinned, he’d know that voice anywhere, it was Todd, his best friend since high school. He had forgotten in the moment that he had become a county brownie. LeeRoy was pretty sure Todd knew about his moonshining, but never brought it up
“What’s up Bud?”
“LeeRoy, I wish I could say this was a social visit, but it’s not…there was a riot this afternoon at the prison, and when order was finally restored, there were a couple of prisoners missing…Jeff was one of them”
LeeRoy’s blood ran cold. If Jeff really was out, he was going to have to keep his eyes open. As they drug Jeff out of the courthouse he was screaming at LeeRoy, blaming him for all of this, and swearing to get out and find LeeRoy. LeeRoy hadn’t given it a second thought, but now, if Jeff was out…
“We’ll find him LeeRoy”
“Thanks for letting me know Todd”
WFWF studios:
“The Golden Opportunity. Much has been made of this prestige title, and heaven knows I had to work hard to get into the match. I know, I blew my first shot, but LeeRoy Jenkins doesn’t make the same mistake twice, and now, you all better look out, because I aim to take this ball and run with it.
I look at my opponents in this match, and let’s be honest, there is really no competition for me here. I mean first off we have the pedophile Maxwell Dachs, who apparently has a thing for me. Those beautiful girls you always have draped on you must just be for show huh? You jump on me and ride me to a spot in this thing? You better watch it, because I’ve got a suplex with your name on it, and everyone else needs to watch their back since you outed yourself
Warren, Ante, I don’t know much about you, and frankly I don’t care, you’re in my way, and I have no problem moving you out of it.
And finally, my old buddy Franky Lynn. Guess what? You ain’t got rid of me yet, and I tell you what, I’ve been itching to get my hands on you and break you in half ever since you attacked me from behind like the coward you are. You may have gotten one over on old LeeRoy before, but not this time, I’m ready for you, and I’m going to give you a nice serving of mountain justice boy. When I get done with you, you’ll wish you had been at the house with the rest of your friends that night.
I WILL be the first ever Golden Opportunity winner, because I am
LEEEEEEROOOYYYYYY JJEEEEENNNNKKKINNNSSSSSS
