So far in the last few years we've gotten Defining Moments, Hall of Fame, Network Spotlight, Zombies and a bunch more. I have to wonder if something new will be introduced for 2017. If so I'd like to see WCW Nitro. Imagine the possibilities with elites, basics, battle packs...so much they could do. Already we have gotten the WCW logo on quite a few figures: Shockmaster, Regal, Harlem Heat, Brian Pillman...so maybe its a trial run for a new line? I can only hope! So what does everyone think? A new line for 2017?

A pure WCW/NWO line would be heaven for me as it was my favorite era and there are literally hundreds of talents I would buy. But I doubt it would happen. We all know how WWE likes to bury WCW at every opportunity, while they obviously allow the odd WCW figure to be made, I highly doubt they'd ever allow Mattel to do a full WCW line. Heck it could even be WWE who are blocking Mattel from doing a licensing deal with the belt people to make the classic WCW titles, simply because they don't want WCW to be celebrated or glorified too much.
Probably a more realistic but equally exciting idea would be a new line catering purely to more obscure Legends. Bill said if Shockmaster did well, Mattel wanted to look into possible ways to release more obscure legends in a way that makes sense. And we just heard at Ringside Fest that Shockmaster DID sell very well. So fingers crossed.
Would be so awesome if Mattel can find a way to dig deeper into the classic roster so that almost everyone could be possible and they wouldn't have to sell thousands or tens-of-thousands to be considered a success. Everyone from the B-list to the Z-list could then be possible. Imagine if we could realistically get guys like Alex Wright, Norman Smiley, Prince Iaukea, Hugh Morrus. Announcers like Tony Schiavone, Mike Tenay, Michael Buffer, David Penzer. Referees like Nick Patrick, Randy Anderson, Mark Curtis. "Wrestlecrap" stuff like The Yeti, Ralphus. More women like Akira Hokuto, Kimberly Page, Debra McMichael.
For now it's a fantasy but hopefully one day Mattel can figure something out so we're not just skimming the top few levels of Legends forever.

A wcw line would make me do flips,...but I don't see it happening unfortunately.
I'd like the shockmaster type selections being made into a more consistent line throughout the year. My next suggestion being Zeus

There are some new lines. There's the talking Flexforce type things, the mutants, the Hasbro style ones (are they still a thing?), and there's a new elite two-pack segment with the Wild Samoans, and Warrior vs Shango. I say leave it like it is so the budget doesn't go over That doesn't make any sense.

I'd love a WCW line as long as they still put a few more in the regular Elite line like they have been lately.

A WCW line? That would be pretty damn awesome, but I doubt that would ever be a thing.

Regardless if there is or not. If the figures are "normal" basics or elites, its going to flop and end up at Big Lots

What about the hasbros? That's new. I hope they go very deep with that line, we can bet macho will be in the next wave and I can't wait!

I would say the Hasbro style retros and the talking figures are it. I guess the Create-a-Wrestlers are done since they're rotting at Big Lots.

According to the display video of Bill, they're adding a fourth pack to the Battle Pack lines from how I interpreted it.
We're getting 8 figures in Battle Packs, 6-8 on average in Basics, 6 Elite, the plethora of store exclusives, etc. We're getting this A & B series in the Elites rather than just calling it 47a & 47b, just call it 47 & 48 or make the Elite series have more figures? You've already done it with Basics & Battle Packs.
Raw is too long, PPVs are far too long and too plentiful now. If there's a PPV Event there's a show Sunday (PPV), Monday (RAW), Tuesday (Smackdown), Wednesday (NXT).
This is the era of over-exposure and it's not a good thing. We don't need more lines or series.

To respond to a few people here, I meant new line for collectors not things like mutants and all of those types of things. A regular line with elites, basics and battle packs. Or at least something like Hall of Fame/Network Spotlight/Then Now Forever with several figures releasing per wave and with more than 4 a year like Defining Moments.

There will be a line where everyone who says "OMG! So and so returned to WWE last night/made their debut and we need a figure NOW!!" gets the banhammer. Please?

My next suggestion being Zeus I am definitely down with this! Shockmaster Zeus Giant Gonzalez P.N. News Skip and Sunny 2-pack
