I'm looking for some reassurance here to put my mind at rest. Back in July I used viagogo for the first time to buy a ticket - an e-ticket - for Raw in Glasgow next week and as it stands now, it still hasn't been emailed to me.
Now while viagogo's website says that this is normal for tickets, inclduing e-tickets, after reading horror stories from unsatisfied customers on Twitter, I can't help but feel uneasy right now. The waiting game is just so unnecessary, why can't they just e-mail me my e-ticket right away? Do they just enjoy seeing their customers stressed out and having them on edge with uncertainty?
From Viagogo's website:
You should expect to receive your tickets, including e-tickets, in the week leading up to the event as event organisers typically issue tickets very close to the event date, very often the week of the event.
Your tickets will be available for download no later than 3 days before the event. We’ll notify you as soon as your tickets are ready for download.
I also received a DM from them a few days ago after inquiring about my purchase:
Hi __________, please note, it is very likely your tickets will be uploaded closer to the event (sometimes as close as 3 days before eventday) Rest assured however, we will continue to monitor your order, to make sure your ticket is uploaded plenty of time before the event.
They also seem to be very erratic with their replies to people too which only adds to my worries, what if it's the day of the show and I still haven't received my ticket? I'll have almost no chance of getting hold of them in time for the show because they're so damn slow and inconsistent with their responses. Their twitter account will sometimes go dark for days at a time by the looks of things.
I'm curious to here your viagogo stories and if you had to wait this long or longer before you got your tickets.
