I've seen this said so many times on this forum and it's simply not true. The post immediately above yours proves this statement to be false. So it doesn't limit hundreds of wrestlers from being able to be in this series? The hall of fame brand is limited to 147 inductees, which many of those are celebritys, stables or teams Its still very limited But they may still be made. Just not in the HOF line

I've heard a lot of good elite two-pack ideas that won't get made because they are not in the HOF. That's what I meant. I had gotten the clue They might get made just not in the HOF line. Fingers crossed for some of them I hope so. But it seems there are no more regular elite two-packs like NOD planned unfortunately so for the time being we are restricted by what is allowable within that HOF parameter

Just not in the HOF line Thats what im trying to say. Theres thousands of wrestlers across nwa, awa, wcw, ecw, wwf, njpw, mexico, wwe and only a hundred or so wrestlers can be made in the "HALL OF FAME" series. What im trying to say is that the series is very restrictive. Of course Mattel is restricted by WWE legends deals but regardless there's still hundreds of wwf / wwe ,wcw / nwa guys that regardless if they can be made as an elite, can not be a choice for hall of fame series figures

They can alter The Outsiders Nash again if they need to re-release it with Hall. As someone who got it for $40 online, I still don't mind them re-releasing it since it's Nash's iconic attire. Nash wore a red tasseled vest at Hog Wild '96, and he also had darker hair, so they could just do that instead of a straight re-release (E16 Nash has the 'kinda orange' problem that plagues many dirty blonde guys for some reason). They could also do his version with black pants, but I feel like the all red look makes more sense. If I had a choice, I'd just like his dirty blonde '97 look with the blocky NASH letters (similar to the Ringside exclusive). I'd want a laughing sculpt for that one, or something representing the smart ass personality of Kevin Nash. But again, all red Outsiders is the iconic look, and that figure was a pain to find at retail even when it was new.

Ok, everyone has opinions. Just because it does not agree with yours, that does not make the other one any more right or wrong. No need for anything to get heated beyond that. Just roll with it.

Wild Samoans are a VERY peculiar choice to kick off this line.

Once is okay since they did appear in street clothes alot in WCW and it sold well but making multiple street clothes versions? Seems lazy. That being said the street clothes battle pack sold so well they are now re-releasing it so I mean, why wouldnt they make an outsiders 2 pack or individual elites in ring gear? They are Almost guranteed to sell well, especially if they go with the iconic red and black look for them.

The street clothes will work great on a Stooges 2 pack Patterson and Briscoe or maybe a 3 pack Commish Slaughter and Brisco,Patterson

I don't mind street clothes if it is a look you saw them in as much as ring attire. Outsiders wore jeans and t-shirts as much as their wrestling gear. I realize not all of these are in HOF and not 2 packs but guys in street clothes I wouldn't mind seeing are Commisioner Regal, Announcer Jesse Ventura, many variantions on HBK (Commissioner, cut off shirt and biker shorts, nWo, etc), Savage RR91.

They better do 2 to 1 or Samoans will sit until the next decade. They are dropping the ball in better 2 packs:
Outsiders 2 Dudes with Additude Screw Job Ventura and Monsoon Lod 2000

Killer Bees (mask and jacket) The Rockers (no re-release, a new attire and accessory) Brian Kendrick and Paul London Tazz and Kurt Angle APA (ring gear)
I'm just thinking 2 pack, because the HOF line is hard to think about for a 2 pack. WWE is going to have to add more wrestlers for Mattel to make.

I don't understand Mattel tbh. They are literally making the same mistake for a fourth time. Let's take a look.
The original legend series. They put a bunch of mid tier characters in the line but on top of that they made them in obscure attires that even fans don't remember. Slaughter and warrior in white attires rather than the iconic attire they are remembered in. Same with snuka in tights and the lod in black awa attire. They picked people like kamala and brian pillman to put in the line. By the time they started to put great figures like eddie and orange warrior into the line, it was too late.
The original legend 2packs. Again, they put obscure characters as their release like volkoff/sheik and the bushwhackers. Combined with the semi high price they shelfwarmed and by the time they started making good releases like the rockers, it was too late.
The hof 4 packs. AGAIN, they choose figures that they know are boring and people won't buy and slap a huge price tag on it. Sure ric flair is great, but I'm not paying $50 for boring figures like arn Anderson and tully. Then when they make a good pack, like the heenan pack, it's too late....again.
Seeing a trend?
And now they start the hof 2 pack and instead of learning from their mistakes, they're repeating them. Instead of giving us an exciting pack, like maybe the 2 dudes with attitude, or even bret Hart and stone cold, stuff that will sell, they give us the wild Samoans. Anybody who collected during the jakks era will remember how badly they sold. Jakks 2 packs were one of their better sellers and the Samoans still shelfwarmed. And that's who they choose to give us. I guarantee these are going to warm pegs and by the time the second pack, which I believe is the outsiders, comes out, it will be all but over because I'm sure these will be close to forty bucks.
I don't know why Mattel can't figure multi figure packs out. Marvel legends do it and it's fine. They seemed to do somewhat well with the all star packs. If you're going to give us multi elite packs then feel free to cut down on accessories if it keeps the cost low. I think the all star packs were $25 bucks or around that and they came with one accessory. That's fine. Maybe produce less of them so they don't shelfwarm. But you go back to those other lines and they could've been successful. Instead of the bushwhackers, take the LOD out of the singles line, put them in the two pack and make them in their iconic attire. Make snuka, slaughter, warrior etc in their iconic attires. They will sell. Their excuse at the time was that jakks already made them, but their figures don't scale with jakks so that shouldn't have been an issue. They squandered their opportunity with people like snuka and even hulk by waiting to make their iconic attires because they were trying to sell as many as they could. It's absolutely frustrating and I guarantee these two packs are going to be a failure.

If WWE and Mattel won’t do WWE Celebrity Hall Of Fame single or four packs, then I’m going to suggest WWE Celebrity Hall Of Fame two packs!! Pete Rose and William “The Refrigerator” Perry Bob Uecker and Drew Carey Mike Tyson and Mr. T. Donald Trump and Arnold Schwarzenegger Snoop Dogg and whoever the 2017 WWE Celebrity Hall Of Famer will be Mattel is more likely to make a DC Multiverse 6" figure of Arnold Schwarzenegger as Mr Freeze from Batman & Robin than a WWE HOF figure just buy a neca terminator and do a head swap. They scale well with each other
