Since its now official that the 4 packs are dead and 2 packs will be replacing them, what do we think the price point will be set at? Thinking $25 since the 4 pack was at $50. Don't think it can be over $30 if they expect it to sell. I feel that the Wild Samoans are a risky pair to kick off the line. Afraid they are gonna warm and kill the lineup before it has a chance. If it does survive past the first wave, what pairs would we like to see in future lineups? Keep in mind that they have to be Hall of Famers. Some off the top of my head:
The Rock Don Muraco and Older Billy Graham Bret Hart and Bob Backlund Bobby Heenan and Gorilla Monsoon LOD 2000

I'm passing on papa shango and warrior altogether and I might not even get the Samoans unless it is discounted deeply. I think these are kinda poor selections

Personally I think they won't sell well. They'll suffer the same fate the 4 packs did but with even less sales

I would guess $40 to start, that Warrior/Shango set doesn't look so cheap. Maybe $35?

Any idea on releas date for retail? Don't think Bill ever said. Hoping soon since we're not getting the 4 pack this holiday season. Just need to get those Horsemen off the shelf. The set being sold out online may be a good sign that they've cleared enough inventory to get new stock out.

The Hall of Fame restriction is such an obstacle in the way of far better possibilities.

Rock/Austin Lita/Trish Ross/King
there is plenty of talent they could match up that has already been released prior but could sell if the attire's were compelling

Two packs are better for me. Don't like buying 4 figures just to get the one figure I actually want. Now I will only have to buy 2 to get 1.

Why Razor & Diesel or Diesel are Michaels are not in this set instead of the Samoans and Diesel is a singles figure is beyond me

I'll have to agree, starting it with the Wild Samoans and a re-release figure in Shango could kill the line before it even starts. I hope I'm wrong.

I really don't see either 2-pack selling very well to be totally honest.
While the HOF restriction sucks, it's not a killer. There are a lot of great guys in the HOF right now.

No way a great way to start off is with the Samoans being the new Tito.

Why he isn't in yet I have no idea. Maybe they figure he can still wrestle sometimes if they really push for it and they have a weird thing about active guys not being in the HOF. Plus they're probably saving him for when they really run out of names

Warrior figures without singlets always seem to sell extremely well. I'd even wager that E26 sold well but it was so over produced it has the impression it was a flop. I'm not too worried about that two pack. The thing that has me optimistic about the Wild Samoans is that I believe every other Samoan figure had pretty good sales. Rock (with a few exceptions), Rikishi, Umaga, Reigns, Usos.
