I knew Swann would win as soon as he kicked out of the top rope sliced bread.

They better give Swann a lengthy title reign. The dude is one of the most over guys in the division by far.

This crowd loves Rich.
If only WWE could get them behind the rest of division this much. Maybe giving them mic time and character would help like it did with him.
When I first saw Rich live a few years ago, I would have never guessed he'd be in this position now. I'm thrilled he is though.
That was a good debut episode. Tag match wasn't great, but it was fine. Gallagher was a lot of fun, and the main event was fantastic. The crowd was also more into it than they ever are on Raw. I hope we can keep this up.
Lastly, odd that Tom was standing above TBK on the ramp, what with tomspiracies and all. :

With that match it seems like Swann has the most promise of the cruiserweights

I loved 205 Live.
Great for Rich Swann, he deserves to be champion.
Happy for the Bollywood boyz for their win, but its hard to be happy about it, because I'm a Tony Nese fan.
But the one person who stole the show, and who I am now his #1 Fan, is Jack Gallagher! I love his style and his ring work. I hope he gets the title one day.
the only bad thing I have to say about the debut episode, was the post match interview with Gulak and Nese. It wasn't that good.

Fun show to watch, really liked the video packages to help get over the talent. Austin Aries was great on commentary. The negatives were the crowd was mostly dead and the production team scrambling to find people who were reacting.

I think they should make the cruiserweight division on RAW smaller and add people as the weeks come but let the rest showcase there talents on 205Live and if they become good push them up to RAW

Some fans posted pictures that show that more than half of the SD crowd left before 205 came on. Which is a real shame if you ask me. Those guys busted their asses last night and the show was very good. I just hope WWE is more patient than the fans are. Because I really enjoy having these guys around.
Maybe WWE could film it before SD but air it afterwards?

Really dont understand why they don't film it before SD, but fun show, crowd wasnt into it that much as expected.
That Raul Mendoza guy was oddly featured alot in the intro yet the only guy that wasn't on the stage weird

Sounds like a good start, now here's hoping they can build on it and keep the momentum going for Swann

I have to be honest, I didn't watch the CWC. When they were on Raw Idgaf about them. Last night I watched 205 Live and it blow me away, Jack Gallagher is so talented and Swann vs Kendrick was really good. I may have to rewatch some of the classic.

I thought 205 Live was great.
Some good video packages with Bollywood Boyz and Noam Dar.
Jack Gallagher was a tonne of fun, although I didn't expect anything less.
Main event was excellent. Would've liked a linger reign for TBK, but title change on the debut episode makes sense.
Only hope is that the crowds stop being so awful. Although if the shows aren't in a big wrestling city, or in the U.K, then the crowds are generally always terrible.

The crowds aren't going to stop being awful for this because it doesn't have mass appeal. It's treated like a separate "internet" thing, which is why the CW division was already failing on Raw. If you insert the CWs into a world on Raw that already exists, then the fans will treat them like equals. The way it's been done so far makes them a bit of a bathroom break because they are segregated. 205 Live took the segregation to a whole new level.
Happy for Rich Swann's cool moment, but, he's all show with no substance. He doesn't have a character and he didn't really have a chase for the title to get over beyond his theme music. So he's not going to last as champion. I'd be totally fine if they let Aries come out from behind the table and brain buster him through the ring on Raw next week to a chorus of boos. At least at that point the division would have an anchor.
Until these guys have an identity (see The Brian Kendrick), nobody is going to care about them to any great degree. The reality show approach doesn't work either. You can only hear so many sob stories before your audience becomes totally desensitized to that sort of thing.
It was a good show, but there is nothing on it that is can't miss. So if we're going to continue to see the main CW talent on Raw, then I'll just stick to Raw for now. I don't need to add an hour of meaningless workrate matches to my life right now.

Why isn't Nevile part of this. at lest it would give him something to do. I hope Neville isn't part of this. He and even some others on this roster are too good to just be limited with the status of Cruiserweight.
