As TRW and WOJC brought up in the fantasy basketball thread a number of trades have ruined a few of our WF leagues and they suggested some sort of trade panel.
I propose a 3-man trade panel with Me, TRW and WOJC being the panelists or in a case where one of the panelists is involved in the trade, the two remaining panelists select a new panelist to help with the decision.
Does this sound OK with everyone?

No this is stupid, people dont need approvals to make trades. If you guys or anyone has a problem with someone doing a trade..VETO IT. When setting up a league make sure there is a veto button that when 1/2 the league vetos it then it will be gone. There is no need to make it go through a special panel. I am sorry thats weak. Just give the commisoner the right to veto the trade...that simple

The commissioners always have the right to veto it, but they seldom seem to actually act on it. Plus, getting the entire league to vote never works, as most don't bother.
In all of the "real" fantasy leagues I do with friends, we have a trade approval committee. I don't care if I am on it or not, but it would help with the problems we have in the yahoo leagues.

Just make sure the commisoner is someone who will play everyday and will pay attention when people question a trade...its that simple.
In one of the football leagues WOJC is the commisoner, he will pay attention everyday so there shouldnt be a problem.

I just think we need no nonsense commissioners. Some of the trades I've seen slip through have been a joke.

I just hope this doenst happen, there is no need. It is fantasy sports on a wrestling figure website....not the UN. Just make someone half way normal to be the Commisoner and we will be ok

I don't care either way, but I don't see why people would be opposed to it, unless they plan to make lopsided trades.

I just dont think its necessary. I made 1 bad trade that I gave my reasons for and I regretted it. I made it cuz I missed the draft and I dont plan on missing anymore. I made 2 bad trades to TRW and WOJC to but I mean its just dumb that people hafta go through a group to make trades. WOJC is the commisoner, then we will be fine and this thread will be moot.
