Today I found two Lugers at two different Walmarts. The first one had a big smudge on his face so I passed on him. The Second, the knee pads were scuffed. So I had to pass again. Has anyone else encountered this?

I bought one today at Walmart. It had a couple stray dots on his face, not a big deal. The only issue is the cape deserving to be thrown in the trash.

My Bubba Ray Dudley has a big smudge on his back, so annoying.

Yeah but I dont bitch about quality issues like most people. They're mass produced toys... crap happens Would you buy a tshirt with a hole in the armpit? Would you buy a blu ray with a torn cover? Would you buy a buy books with blank pages? All mass produced items. All not acceptable. See what I'm getting at here? Doesn't make anyone a "bitch"

As a consumer I expect perfection in my goods.

I've pretty much stopped looking for figures in stores now, unless they're store exclusives. Too often I see QC issues with in-store figures, but don't find them nearly as often with the ones I order from RSC.

The equivalent would design slightly messed up, not a problem with the problems durability. Those are also flat surfaces as well as items less likely to be affected by climate.

The flat surface argument is fair but i guess my point was they are all items that cost relatively close to what a figure costs and you'd be furious if it came incomplete or damaged straight from the package. Im not saying i don't understand how production errors happen, I'm saying people who say deal with it are probably hypocrites.

They didn't paint the bottom of his hair on the front side on mine. One of the eyebrows is really messed up and they painted one of his ears the color of his hair.

Im guessing they had to go with a cheaper factory to keep Elites under $20 and basics under $12.

Has anyone else encountered this? Why not buy them both, swap the good head onto the one with good kneepads and then bring back the one with the bad head and the smudged kneepads? I'm not trying to condone "swapping" but in this case you're giving them the actual figure, just maybe not an ideal one.

Buy both, swap kneepads on the effed up one, take back the messed up one.
BOOM! FIXED. 😎

If it's not right don't buy i, if you buy it and notice it's not right take it back or contact Mattel. It's not that hard to be a consumer

Smyths had a 3 for 2 deal on their WWE figs last month so I got 2 Lex's and a Warrior to make sure I got a Lex in good condition (sold the other on ebay).

I ordered Lex and got him last week and I was pleasantly surprised that mine didn't have any issues with QC at all. It's an awesome figure too!
