You should find a Basic Matt Hardy for under $20. Its his Elites that are expensive. Finlay was a major shelfwarmer when his figures were released.

SO the line has been around for a few years now but I'm always amazed at how much people want for older figures. Like not even 5 years gone by and you're gauging people already? Poor form for sure, but also the seller's personal business. When I started, I never paid more than 25$ shipped for ALL the legends. That's TO canada, WITH shipping. Those were the days. Snagging toys before anyone else (especially the children they're aimed for) and selling them on ebay for a high price IS NOT A JOB. That's douchery. Hooking people up AND making a profit, cool. Gauging people - douchery. I still need dh smith, hardy, gabriel & yoshi... I'll NEVER get them cuz if I ever do see them they're 100$. F that noise jack lol BUT like most have said, if you creep a deal will come your way...eventually.

A Walmart around me had a full case at the beginning of the year of Elite 20 (The full set, including a lot of Jerichos) and Series 8 (Everyone, yes Finlay to) since 2012. I think they shelfwarm because the Walmart is sort of hidden. But they sold the elites for $5 and basics for $2 and I guess they sold.

I can attest to this, I got the RSC Unmasked Kane for a crazy stupid deal the other week (About $30 vs. the $80 he goes for loose). If you scout out eBay or Facebook groups long enough you'll find a steal. I'm still stunned at how much E12 Kane goes for but seeing as it's the essential version, and distribution, it makes sense. Still looking for a steal on him.

I don't understand why people complain about prices for collector's items on the secondary market. It is not as if these prices are set artificially high simply to line people's pockets. There is greater demand for certain figures, especially ones that are no longer available in stores. If there was not high demand the prices would go down. It makes no sense to complain about having to pay more for something that many other people are willing to pay more for as well. Many people who buy these products to resell them pay retail prices or above, and without them reselling the figures they would be much tougher to find, at any price. When you consider the investment that ebay sellers make, the amount of time that they spend holding on to their investment, and the effort they go through to put these figures back out on the market, it is easy to see why the prices go up.

You got a point there Harambe. Alot of these bum ass collectors can't afford the hobby,so they resort to swapped returns and lowballing in in the classifieds.

I get what your saying, but just because somebody wants to pay less for something or find a deal, doesn't necessarily mean they're a "bum ass collector" who "can't afford the hobby". That being said, I'd go as high as $150 for a MOC SES Punk. Does that make mea bum who cant afford the hobby? I don't think so.

But there's people who want stuff so cheap it's almost disrespectful.
