Hi all. I am trying to decide if I should make the trip out to WrestleMania for all the events minus WrestleMania itself. I have already been to a WrestleMania, but I have never been to the HoF or Axxess. Are those events worth it? I cannot take two days off of work so I would only be able to take the Friday and come back home the Sunday. I would be able to see the HoF, NXT Takeover, and Axxess. What are your opinions on this?

A few of my friends have went to Axxess and they said it was a horrible experience. The lines are long, the weathers hot and it can be very stressful. Apparently a wrestler can also leave while people are still in line and a lot of the fans are very rude with each which causes arguments.
Personally I wouldn't have the patients to go because it sounds like Hell on Earth.

It's literally worth it JUST to be there. I went to Thurs and Saturday sessions before WM29. Thursday wasn't very crowded. Saturday was nuts. But for me, just being in the middle of the atmosphere was awesome. So much stuff to see!

I attended every Axxess session last year with the exception of Sunday's. Each session is divided into two parts. Wrestler A signs for 2 hours and then is replaced by wrestler B who signs for two hours. If you are still in line for A when his time is up, you are out of luck. You can stay in line for B or make the mad dash to another station.
If your intention in going to Axxess is to get autographs, that is largely a nightmare. People lined up 2 hours before the doors opened so they could wait in line for the next 4 hours to get a few autographs. The lower card talents are easier and quicker to get. It's entirely possible you can go for the whole 4 hour session and only get 2-3 autographs. Hopefully they make some changes to the process this year to help move things along. I've never witnessed any fans getting into arguments while in line.
All that being said, if you enjoy the WWE and want to experience being completely immersed in all things WWE, you should definitely go. One session last year I didn't even bother with the autograph lines. I just walked around the other exhibits and watched the live NXT matches. If you are going to be in town, I would recommended going to one session just to see it.
Also, make sure to check out the WrestleMania Superstore. Everything will be overpriced, but it's a joy to be surrounded by such a massive amount of WWE merchandise.
If you enjoy the NXT product, then go to Takeover.
I've been to 3-4 HOF ceremonies, and have no intention of ever going again. Some of the old timers drone on and on, and never really don't have anything interesting to say. Other speeches are good, but now with the Network, you can just watch them whenever you want. Yes they might be edited, but it's still better than sitting through 2+ hours of nothing to see the one or two people you came to see. Also, the fans don't know how to behave and I end up getting so annoyed at their BS, that I want to leave. Other people absolutely love the HOF every year, so it's really a matter of if you think you would like it. If you watched the last couple on the Network and enjoyed them, then maybe you should go.

-- It depends on your patience level. Some lines are longer than others. But to see authentic props/title belts/NXT experience... to me, it's worth it.

No, no, and no.
I've gone four times (one of the times I've gone for free), and I can honestly say it's gotten worse each year. Not only have the prices gone up (both general admission and (premium) VIP), but the lines are longer, and the talent is lower in general. I don't think I'll ever go again. The sessions are 4-5 hours and you'll be lucky if you get through three lines. If you go to multiple sessions during the week, you will likely see the same talent working again and again, most of which are low-carders which isn't really bad, but if you've already seen them why wait in line for an hour+ again to say hi and shake their hand again? Don't get me started on the VIP prices and the fact that you'll spend at most 20 seconds with your cash-sink of choice. To some it's worth it, but to me, I just can't justify it.
Overall, if you've never gone, it's probably worth going. But once you know what you're signing up for, you might change your mind the next time.
