Ok first of all I know there is a possibility all or some of these questions will not be answered. But I will ask anyway because I am curious just like a lot of you are to.
Question 1: What is going on with the release of HOF 4 and 5 and the Mean Gene BAF. I know it has something to do with distribution at Walmart and target but can we please know a estimate, possibility, or something about release dates. TRU is doing really well with the network series you can order in store and online.
Question 2: With so many issues with the HOF and other retailer exclusives. Will we ever see RSC or Mattycollectors sell the retail exclusive like they do the other elites (preorder and regular sell). So more people are able to get them that want them; when the retail stores in our areas don't ever get any at all and we have to go on eBay or amazon and pay extremely high for them.
Question 3: Is the Contract Chaos set exclusively for the UK or will we ever see them released in the US also. Or will we see a playset for the US that has those pieces in it. Usually Kmart gets a really cool accessories set for Christmas.
Question 4: Will we continue to see more .5 or re-release sets of elites. I think everyone appreciated the Elite Legends Line (or whatever Mattel wants to call it) and the new 47.5 in between E47 and E48 is a nice bonus also.
Question 5: Is Mattel or Wicked Cool going to ever do a authentic scale Hell in the Cell or Elimination Chamber. I think even as just a RSC exclusive it would do well.
****I do also want to give MDT a thumbs up, you guys are really getting into making the figures collectors want (current and flashbacks) and I want to say thank you and keep up the good work. |

Question 1- Mattel has no control
Question 2- mattycollector is shutting down and rsc can only get retailer exclusives the same way we all do...through the retailer.

Question 4- Mattel ideally doesn't want to do the a+b waves or the legends wave but I think they are just addressing overstock issues.
Question 5- I think wct will do a hell in a cell someday but they take forever to come out with new stuff so I wouldn't expect it within the year.

Question 1 - Was already answered by Mattel and said that it was logistics. The designers of the figures have nothing to do with it.
Question 2 - They already do for some figures.
Question 4 - It's not .5, but B according to the actual packaging. Ringside calls them .5 and it rustles my jimmies. Also, calling it 47B is silly, don't call it 47B, just call it 48. I know it's related to having 47 & 47B at retail at the same time, but if you called it 48 it will have the exact same effect and not make a mockery of your numbering system.

He said the Mean Gene set is ready, but Walmart hasn't placed the order for it yet (which doesn't sound good, especially when there is another white Ranger Seth coming out in another basic line) Not placing an order is not the same as the shipment being slow/delayed |

He really doesn't know what is going on, he said it should've been out by now. |

I'm still not understanding how 47 and 47.5 is going to help the log jam of E32 & E38 Bryans, E39 Sids and Mizdows and the Rusevs, Barrett's and other scrubs People will buy all of E47 and E47.5 except the Ascension. They will then join those others and the El Matadors clogging up the shelves
Somebody fill me in on what I'm missing here

Less of each figure but more variety so there's not 20 of one figure like Diegos or Mizdows on the shelf. |

When the store goes to re-order after the initial couple of shipments, they will get the new .5 figs instead of getting the same figs they just sold out of. They will be under the same sku number so they store can't over order the same figs like target did with hof 2 and elite 36. Or like Walmart did with e39. Elites are low, so they order. Whatever series is sitting at the distribution center, is what they will get. Mattel wants more and different product out, all at once. Its great for collectors |

To try to avoid these huge logjams in the future Sucks these stores won't do much to clear up the huge one that's already happened Plus walmart stopped price maching, so if i was on the fence about buying 18 elite godfathers or sids and gamestop had there $6.97 sale on elites. So if i wanted to try and pricemtach to get rid of some crap for customs, or just donate them I can't do that now. Combine that with the fact that mattel refuses to give retailers discounts to mark this stuff down. Seriously its 2016 i can download a game from an app store on my phone or ipad for a few dollars and you just lost a customer mattel. |
