So...how well does this figure sell to Walmart customers? or at this point it doesn't matter because they were already selling DM Steve Austins and Warriors for $5?

Average figure at best. At worst it's a huge disappointment.

Eh...I understand he was a big deal Japan and is making headlines in NXT but...he hasn't made his main roster debut yet and his figure is a defining moments? Put him up there with Hogan, Savage, Warrior, Bret ect. Ect.. they only used top tier legends for this line before.
I could even understand aska being a DM because of her attire, but this is a pretty plain figure. Everyone went nuts about the Ultimate Maniacs Warrior saying it wasn't DM worthy...but not a peep about this plain fig.

Gonna wait for a normal Elite. This figure does not justify almost $30 for me.
Funny how the first ever DM figure we ever got was WM7 Macho with the cloth jacket. And now we get this which Mattel wants to charge the same amount for...

Call me a dumbass but who is this guy?? Im not gonna name call, but ignorance isnt an excuse in 2016/17 when you have the internet at your fingertips.... The current NXT champion, and second to hold it twice. The king of strong style

But I do hope you realize that his normal elite will be just as expensive if not more, when sold on RSC? Elite for some reason are being sold initially for $26.99 and up for some reason and the DM digs have always been $25.99. All I'm saying is I hate price hikes but the prices are so comparable now that the difference price was between an elite and a DM is irrelevant. Yes you could wait to get the fig at retail for maybe $5 less. BUT.... If you live in a town like me, good luck. Because we are just now seeing Elite 40 pop up, even at toys r us.

So as a collector, yes I will pay $5 or $10 more on a figure if it is one I can't live without because I'll likely never see it in stores. At least not within that same calendar year.

I try to get all my figs at retail before getting them online. Yes there are dry spells by me at times but NXT figs like Zayn, Balor, and Joe warmed for a bit so I feel confident that I'll find a regular elite when they release one at retail. The only way I can justify Mattel putting this out as a DM is if they use the money they saved towards a cloth Macho Man robe. If this is the case then the robe needs to be as good as Ralph's.

He looks like there is either somwthing wrong with him, or he is in incredible pain. hear the stories of high school teams letting the kids with downs score a touchdown? Maybe that kid grew up and wwe gave him a title.

And now we get this which Mattel wants to charge the same amount for... I say it every time. Dm cena had 2 cloth shirts, 2 belts, a hat, and 2 chains. Every new dm has been lackluster in comparison. Hogan needed a cloth shirt Razor needed a ladder and/or 2nd title Sting needed a wcw title Taker is a hard one to add an accessory but it feels lacking Scsa needed a shirt. But the 3 title were nice Sting needed a cloth jacket and title Warrior needed to be macho man Cena needed a cloth shirt and us title This nakamura needs the extra jacket, at least 1 cloth piece, and the nxt title.
