Anyone know anything about the Rodman/Hogan 2-Pack by OSFTM?

I don't have all of mine out of storage for measurements, but the I know that a Monday Nitro Saggs (rubber ones) were 6 3/4". The Giant was a little larger and thicker, probably around 7". There were two sets of figures with moveable parts and they were actually various heights, but most were either 4 1/2" or 6". The Giant was larger as was Nash while Benoit and Flair were smaller while Nash, DDP, etc were probably the 4 1/2 or 6" height. The vibrating ones seemed larger to me than the others. The boxed sets of 2 - 4 figures will give you an idea of what I mean in terms of the various heights.

I did not have my Hogan/Rodman our of storage to measure, but I am surprised that they are that large. I guess if you look at it from the standpoint that Rodman was supposed to be 6'7" and Hogan was supposed to be 6'9" then they should be larger than the 6 3/4" Saggs who was billed as 6'3".

At the point that set was released in 1997, that was Rodman's first wrestling figure. Rodman and Hogan were friends, so. Why they're the only figures with that mold, only the people from OSFTM can tell...

About the height of the vibrating figures? That's cool, more reason to pick those up!

Yeah, it seemed to me like a way for them to try out the BCA style figures but bigger but I guess after this they though punching and ATOMIC ELBOW action was superior...I don't disagree.

In all the interviews about marketing and sales and all that I'd love to see some of the old WCW associated staff talk a bit about the toys since that's a big business in itself!

I always wondered how they didn't do more toys in those winning 84 weeks. (84? 82? Whichever.)

I was never a fan of WCW figures myself. My dad worked at a retail store and managed to get me a ton of them. But, as a weird kid lol, I didn't want the plethora of Hogan and NWO guys. I always liked how WWE did figures of almost everyone! It was a wider variety.

The Rodman figures were cool but I do not like him much lol. Even as a kid I knew producing Rodman was a major marketing scheme. I much rather wanted Heenan, Lance Storm, Crowbar and the girls. I'm a huge female wrestler fan so I was MAJORLY upset that no Major Gunns, Leia Meow, Paisley or Kimberly were made. And no Nitro Girls haha. That single Liz didn't cut it for 7 year old me!

Anyway, these two just always stuck out to me. Too bulky/tall for the Toybiz figures and not styled like the OSFTM toys. They just felt like those two one off action figures that some toy lines get. I actually had no idea they were OSFTM items when I was a kid. Seeing as how they just looked so different and the packaging looked very cheap/knockoff-ish. Actually the products themselves look like they'd be sold at those Dollar stores that sell unlicensed products.

I have these still unopened. Not sure if they are worth anything at all. They reminded me of AWA Remco figures.

I was thinking that this was the only Rodman in OSFTM. ToyBiz put out a figure also along with a variant.

Pretty cool looking doll, I definitely see the similarities but this guy dwarfs the other two.

Odd toys for an odd guy, but from a collector's standpoint I always loved this kind of stuff.

They could have made a Hulk Hogan riding a Shark (like Jaws, not like Earthquake) 2-Pack and I'd be on eBay right now hunting it down.
