I've always had a love for the Hasbro line of figures, they were my real introduction into the crazy world of wrestling. So after admiring all the collections on here I broke my rule on collecting loose figures and began to snap up the first series of figures. I then decided that I needed to do something with them and so began a passion project. It began with redrawing the line drawings featured on the backs of the cards, then evolved into photographing all of the figures from multiple angles, retyping the bio cards, creating the action flashes and ended with me basically creating a collector's guide and coloring book for the first line. Looking back I wish I had blogged it on here and gave a step by step of the process. Maybe I'll do that for Series 2. Well I'm pleased that the Collector's guide and Coloring book are complete (see pictures below).

Thanks mate, it's been a project that kind of took on a life of it's own. Hoping to start Series 2 soon, so I think i'll post the process here.

That's amazing. However I removed your part about selling; against the rules. As moderator of the Other Brands board I have decided to make only a few rules: 5) Do not post ACTIVE eBay auctions/BINs. It is not allowed to promote your own auctions except on the Classifieds pages. It's also unfair to potential buyers who may have to pay a higher price because an auction was advertised here. Same goes for BINs! 6) Trading only happens in the classifieds. When you have 50 non-spam posts the classifieds section becomes available.

Sorry about that, I'm new to all this... Would it be ok to point me towards the classified section (I can't seem to find it) so I can list it there? Also is it still ok to direct people towards my instagram for more images?

since this isn't the newest Mattel figure being sold for pennies, it's going to sink in the Classifieds.

Awesome idea. This looks very professional as if it were something Hasbro would've put out (I found their 1994 card backs very interesting with listings of all the figures in the line, even though some had moved on to WCW). Anyway, great idea and the coloring part is really cool. That's the way we did it as kids. Coloring out of the lines and the whole portion not fully colored in. And of course, creating our own colored outfit for Akeem.
