So in theory, Royal Rumble will be the WC's nightmare. Reigns walks out as Champion over Owens and Cena walks out as champion over AJ Styles. 2017 is going to start off with a kick to the gonads. Maybe I should sell me Mania tickets. Yep, it's Wrestlemania Season, so they go straight back to the most mainstream and profitable people to carry their titles into their biggest Show of the year, regardless of how the internet darlings such as Kevin Owens, AJ Styles etc have carried the Company the majority of the year. The only thing to confirm now is whether Undertaker wins the Rumble or Elimination Chamber.

I would like Jericho to win the rumble, you have a whole month of Jericho saying I'm going to challenge the WWE Champion then at Fast Lane after the title match Jericho screws Owens and Owens vs. Jericho is at WM. Then you can have Roman vs. Braun and Rollins vs. HHH

Here's a thought.
What happens if Owens beats Roman and Roman gets inserted into the rumble last minute.

aj is probably going down for the three this time, setting cena up with his 16th title win.
can't be really the least bit disappointed by that considering aj's fantastic run (despite crappy writing and a very lacking aj/ambrose feud).

Taker's definitely winning now that they are having him go after Reigns for the Universal Championship.

Strowman costs Reigns the title at the Rumble and Reigns costs Braun the Rumble. Calling it now

Well, If nothing else, at least we're not getting another Cena or Roman win. Granted, they're both more than likely taking the titles, but I suppose them not winning the Rumble match is a positive. The remaining options aren't particularly exciting either, though.

There's no way Jericho is winning. He may be very entertaining as a character, and a feud with Owens for the universal title sounds cool, but as far as in-ring goes, Y2J has been made to look like a loser for years now. Losing to Reigns and Rollins every week for the past 4 months, not even really being around in 2015, losing to Bray Wyatt in 2014, FANDANGO in 2013, and Dolph Ziggler and CM Punk in 2012 doesn't make him seem credible at all. The 2010's have just been pretty bad for Jericho. To be honest, The Miz has even been better in the past 7 years. Jericho winning the Royal Rumble match just doesn't seem like a good idea right now.

Maybe it's me being unwilling to accept the inevitable, but I can't see Styles losing at the Rumble. Not with how the storyline moved this past Smackdown. Plus, add the fact that Smackdown has an Elimination Chamber lined up, I can't help but think that AJ's mouth gets him in trouble following the Rumble.
"Everything I said I would do, I've done. I said I would be Cena. Did it 4 times. Beat Ambrose. Piece of cake. Beat them together? Done. I can beat anybody on this roster..."
Cue Elimination Chamber AJ (C) vs. Cena vs. Baron Corbin vs. Kane vs. Miz vs. Undertaker
Final 3 AJ v. Cena v. Undertaker - Screwjob ending.
Triple Threat Match at Rumble because that's how Smackdown rolls.

Prepare to be shocked. That's all I'm going to say. By what? I don't even know how you know what you're implying you know or if you're credible. But, assuming you are, can you tell us more? does it have to do with a title match? The outcome of the rumble? Or is the Shockmaster returning at the rumble?

I would love for Goldberg to win just to see the reaction on here. It would be like checking Facebook the day after Trump won. Epic lulz

The more I think about it and consider IT IS WWE, I'm expecting them to have Goldberg come in at 29 or 30 and win the Rumble. I can see them going the route of Braun/Lesnar getting into it and eliminating each other setting up that trainwreck, and allowing Vince to cream himself over a Reigns and Goldberg spearfest.

Anybody think Kenny Omega will show up at the rumble since he tweeted he was stepping away from Japan?

Anybody think Kenny Omega will show up at the rumble since he tweeted he was stepping away from Japan? Didn't he say he wanted to be the guy in this era that becomes a legend without ever going to WWE? Not to mention, I don't see him being a nearly big enough name to skip NXT, Tokyo Dome headliner under his belt or not.

The guy's star is just starting to shine but he will not get the Styles treatment. Even Nakamura who was actually more well known and older still got sent to NXT first. I could see this either being just an extended break or I can see him debuting at TakeOver during WrestleMania weekend.

Would it be interesting if the wrestling gods smiled upon us and Cena loses to AJ, but then enters himself as 30 in the Royal Rumble because he's John Cena, wins it, and then faces AJ at Mania?
I'm really losing my interest in attending Mania this year. I bought tickets with the hope that AJ would be main eventing or at least champion, and that hope is quickly fading.

Royal rumble is my favorite event by far. Having said that one of my biggest pet peeves is the time between entrants is never consistent through a rumble. I understand the reason. It's bc there is a spot between each entrant that needs to be completed and some take longer than others. I've noticed the past few years they don't even mention the time between entrants I.e. 90sec etc bc they never stick to it. One entrant can be 90 sec until the next and some almost 3 min. I wish wwe would just choreograph it better and have a running clock on the screen the whole time so it seems real and just put it on the titantron so the guys in the ring know when to hit there spots. There should also be a rule where the entrant has 30 to enter the ring and also if thrown out of the ring but not over top has 10 sec to get back in bc I'm sick of these guys hiding or leaving due to an injury and then all of a sudden coming back at the end, it surprises no one any more. Another rule should be you can only be eliminated by a legal entrant bc I'm sick of people being pulled over by already eliminated guys or valets. They should bill this as the biggest opportunity for a lot of guys who normally wouldn't have a chance and show them training for it and drawing numbers. Make it seem like any of the 30 can win bc we all know it'll be only one of 4 guys who either came in 1-2 or 27-30. Sorry for the rant but the royal rumble could be so perfect if they just made all those simple changes. Thoughts?
