Ok guys! Back to their mutual corners! Gotta say....love the passion! And....we hear your concerns (and praises for that matter!). Bill & the team has done an awesome job delivering, and we plan on giving you guys the best product we can make. In the meantime, and between time, let's have fun, let's be respectable, and of course...keep collecting!

I think people lose sight of that when something that bothers them happens. With that said, please make a Mountie figure

did this guy create the Build a Figure idea? Because wasn't that something Toy Biz did first? I would welcome the return of BAFs to the WWE line. That dang Mean Gene Okerlund BAF should've come out a year ago.

That dang Mean Gene Okerlund BAF should've come out a year ago. I wouldn't mind a revisit to BAF line but with some tweaks. I think all of the figures in the series need to be associated in some way to the figure you're building. Building Paul Bearer? Then the figures should be Vader, Mankind, Kane, and Undertaker. Building Mean Gene? Then give us 4 guys from the Golden Era.

What? You didn't like that line? I thought it was pretty comical.... I laughed, also your entire post was well said and you were in the right.

as a comic book fan...it sucks that D-vonn missed out on the heyday of Rey Mysterio & Kofi Kingston always wearing superhero/villain stuff. Riddler...Flash...Batman attires etc.. lets not forget these gems we couldn't get, because Mattel doesn't have the rights to Marvel licenses

But with a more stern tone because I'm mean and red. Got it? Good.

Lets give David a chance to actually start working before people ask for a Q&A from him. He barely started working, and you guys are requesting he get us this or that figure. He still has to oblige with the same Mattel rules. For him to rock a Hot Rod tshirt, that means he's really in it to win it. Not just some corporate guy. Welcome David V True, I do wonder if the "no deals outside WWE" thing(or WCW belt rights) was a Mattel rule or an old boss rule, because apparently Jesse Ventura would need one of those. I also wonder who's gonna field questions at the booth now, I hope it's both. They have a deal with wwe. What wwe has the rights or ownership of, they can use. 2k can use whatever they want, because they get the contracts and rights themselves to use the likeness of things wwe doesn't have. I'm assuming the majority of wcw belts designs are still owned by the designer.

Is it possible for Mattel to be able to do that and land us some WCW and ECW belts? Like, if they tried?

Hey Guys, Vonner here. Thanks for the warm welcome, and let's have some fun! ✌ Man, I gotta thank you from the absolute bottom of my heart for the Toy Biz Marvel Legends Series IV Punisher. He is hands down my all time favorite figure of any line in the history of lines, and the figure that really got me into collecting as an adult (I was 16 when I bought it). I have since bought 4 more and kept them MOC for when my original bites the dust, but after more than a decade of display, posing, and moving across the country, Ol Frank is still kicking. Not to mention that the 3 and 3/4 line was my bread and butter later on. So many amazing character pulls, and still the only World War Hulk figure worth owning. Super excited to see what you bring to this line!

Welcome aboard the WFigs train (buckle up, it can be a rough ride at times ) Mr. Vonner and congrats on the new job! Even though I have limited my collecting to the classic era (which I grew up watching) and my focus is mainly on the old school guys, I must say that overall I am very impressed by the figures Mattel has released to date. From what others have posted about you, I think you will be a great addition to the design team and I look forward to seeing what great figures you have planned going forward. Great to hear that you are a fan of the golden era of wrestling, hopefully you can influence WWE to allow the release of more figures of old school legends. If stores keep stocking new product, we will keep buying.

Bill & the team has done an awesome job delivering, and we plan on giving you guys the best product we can make. In the meantime, and between time, let's have fun, let's be respectable, and of course...keep collecting! I'd really like if they did chase variants, or running changes that aren't fixing anything but just offering up some variety so that completionists will want to get all versions, and cherry pickers will be able to choose which one they like the best. Im going to use women as an example of what I mean. Basic 43 and Basic 59 Eva Marie, as well as Basic 58 and Battlepacks Lana would not have been in seperate series in what I am proposing. When something is a simple pallete swap, just make it a running change and let people choose which color they prefer......or get them all as most diva collecters would. I think this would work especially well for the less popular, lower card women, as it would cut the unique figures production quantity in half, or in thirds, etc. These are people who only get a figure every three years, if that. Another kind of variant I would like to see are alternate heads. Not a seperate head in the package, but a figure that has the same outfit but a different head (this would translate into different expressions for the men, and hairstyles for the women). How many times have they introduced a new headscan, only for it to suck and force people to swap it out for an earlier figures? I personally want every one of Alexa Bliss' hairstyles and I dont want to wait for 3 more figures for them. Dana Brooke is another one who switches up her hairstyle but whose first scan would still be appropriate for future figures. After Lanas second scan I know that a new scan isnt always an improvement.

I agree with James St. James on the hairstyles and ring gear for the women. Except I don't need any Nia Jax in her futuristic trash bags
