Bill has to know a "Hasbro" Sufer sting is a dream figure. I'll buy Undertaker because he wasn't released in purple and I'll buy warrior because I'm a sucker. I feel warrior is too close to Hasbro warrior 1, o wish it was a different paint scheme. I can't wait for more! Best thing Mattels ever done. Period. I even bought Roman and I am not a fan. I even bought doubles to open and I never do that. I'm sure sting will be Crow but good god I wish it was surfer.

To me Sting was always and always will be Surger Sting, Crow Sting wasn't the Sting I grew up with but kinda was for way more people. Shoot just do both lol. Cover the bases! I also hope Kane is original Kane, classic Kane.

I have no room for another series. Especially now with Legends/Flashbacks being included in more and more lines. Just these last couple weeks I spend well over $200 on Shango/Warrior, TNF BATB, TNF Macho/Quake/Typhoon, Goldust, Tatanka, and Boss Man. And more spending to look forward to whenever Andre, HOF4 Lawler, TNF Basic Warrior, and Cactus Jack become available. Pillman and Boogeyman will also be eventual gets but those I can wait for a good deal on.

everyone do yourself a favor a get a whole set. IF it takes off, 1st series's always ends up most sought after and selling for big bucks later.

These figures are cool but I don't see them making a series 2 I hope you are wrong. Unlike some of Mattel's other ventures, I can't imagine they have a ton of financial risk with this series. 3-4 sets of 6 retro figures a year, especially in this style with so little articulation, isn't a huge dollar commitment -- especially if they sell! Heck, Mattel might even look at it as a way to reintroduce former collectors to the newer product line. I think we will get a second series at least. That said, until we see a ring I'll have my doubts about Mattel's commitment to the line.

They are selling like crazy where I live, at the price point I can see why collectors and kids would make them popular

I'd be shocked if: A: These don't sell like crazy, retro is in nowadays (look at TV/movies, everything is a callback to a previous show or movie) B: There isn't a series 2 and so on. There was a buzz not just on this site but WWE.com and other wrestling sites once these were announced (even squared circle on reddit). I know some folks on here weren't Hasbro fans and grew up with other figs but there's a large portion of wrestling fans who did ... I know I plan on buying two sets, one loose and one MOC ...

Found all of them at Walmart, but when they scanned $12.49 each, I put them back. I remember paying $4.99 for the originals, man has time flown.
Anyway, went back while we were ringing groceries at the register and left with Lesnar and KO, damn nostalgia. When I got home I looked up Macho and Warrior in a bin of old toys. Good times.

Yeah, the only ones I care about in that series are Warrior and Taker. Couldn't careless about the current day guys, especially in retro Hasbro form.

I can see a second wave if they are doing a second wave for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles WWE crossovers….but I feel like the Mattel retro WWEs would be scrapping the bottom of the barrel by series 2….you know, it is such a strong good first set, but if it is mega popular, (I don't know how in love people are with the Funko Reaction/POP/etc series and how much that extends to other companies…) please do more and never stop, but it does seem like it just doesn't go that far, like I can see a LJN kinda retro style set, and maybe a 3 3/4 Funko Reaction aesthetic kinda take on WWE/wrestling figures, like a series (Mutants, Zombies) where every new set/wave is a different aesthetic/style

I'm with those that are loving these. I want as many of these as I can get - especially the legends. I've always wanted the Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff Hasbros. Can someone from Mattel please confirm what's up with the line? Also Ringside any chance you could do an exclusive? Please

simply put, if people buy them they'll make more of them. If they sit on shelves then they won't.
I know there's a lot of mattel collectors who have no interest in the Hasbro line and don't understand the appeal of these ("Bah gahd look at the lack of articulation!") but there's plenty that do.
Me personally, I loved the Hasbros. They were from my childhood and represented everything fun and colourful about that era. I love action figures, but these current regular figures from Mattel have never interested me. They all look the same to me. For years I've literally had the occasional dream where I walk into a shop and on the shelves are new versions of the old hasbros. I resigned myself to the "fact" that I'd never ever see that in real life. But yet, these new retro figures have come along 20 years later and I'm absolutely desperate to get my hands on them.
So if there aren't any more series, just know, whoever is responsible for that, i will go full Liam Neeson on you.
