If they were character specific it would be kinda neat for like a top 10 or something but just random backgrounds is kind of pointless imo Agreed

Maybe if they were two sided. One side is a piece of a diorama if you wanna display the entire series together and the other side is character specific with their logo. something like this to display figures individually with a backdrop Winner

I'm ok with stands but the diorama part kind of sucks if you don't get them all. I do have one but I hardly buy elites. It would be awesome if they were personalized though!

I don't like them because I don't buy every figure from the wave. Also, The two-sided idea is cool, but the piece blocks figures being displayed behind them. I could move those to the back, but why would new figures be hidden behind older figures. Nice to get an extra item packed in with an elite, but I'd much rather have the older stands back.
I don't get how Bill can say stands are not coming back a few years ago and then give us these stands. I know it's an incentive for buying whole waves, but the ratio of collectors and parents that will buy whole waves vs those who don't will not do it because of added cardboard.
For this line in-particular the Biuld an idea concept is flawed because Mattel there are so many figures being pumped out in a year that there is no true exclusive. You can say that there are suited figures that are exclusive (yet to be re released), but suited figures were considered a fail. It would be really something with Mattel could give us actual wrestlers or more dynamic items (like Rusev's Tank or Triple H's throne) to build, but that kind of effort would more than likely cut into a already sliced-thin budget and when it comes to "extras" I'd rather Mattel focus on the figure and it's own accessories because we are starting to get cloth shirts with wrestlers we want and not with wrestlers that don't sell without (I'm looking at you BO).
Either way, all I really want are some new body molds, ankle rockers, and Mattel to stop using the cost saving elbow joints. Refine and add to the quality to the elite series, don't treat me like a child and think that putting a prize in my cereal is going to magically make the cereal good enough to buy!

I feel like they are an attempt to make us buy all the figures in the Elite line. How about making a bunch of kick ass figures and stop with gimmick stuff?
I hate BAFs, too. Where the hell is Mean Gene?
I love BA Baracus, though.

I'd rather them just give us basic black stands again

I like the idea and if I collected I would've customised each stand to represent an individual superstar or PPV like Fighter Hayabusa did. Redid BATB diorama in color

It's a waste of plastic for me to be honest. I don't get it, the original stands were removed because of the budget and now these are brought back? What gives? I don't care for them, but I think they're alright since it's a freebie,

They're like the least enticing thing, to be honest. I'm under the impression they were implemented to try and move some of the sluggish selling figures from retail, to encourage people to buy full sets, but I feel like they're kind of pointless. I have to imagine they have their own budget unrelated to the normal Elite budget, so I don't think they're taking anything away per say, I just don't see them lasting.

They look crap. As said before, character specific ones would be cool. But to spend almost £120 for some figs you don't really want just to complete it is a bit much

It's a good idea, but I'd sooner the budget was used elsewhere, I mean, surely they must use roughly the same budget as the original display stands? Which are something that people have been requesting for a while anyway

I really like them. But with the amount of figures in my display they are of little use to me. It's great that they made some different backdrops too.

I like 'em, I buy full sets all the time, so it's nice little extra.

They're of no use to me, either. I display everything in cases and so having individual stands again for each guy just takes up space that I don't have. I got AJ and Tatanka from Amazon yesterday and I did this totally awkward move when I got home to the tune of "what the do I do with these?" I just threw them in a bin but I honestly don't know why I'm keeping them. I mean surely those stands are factored into the budget for the wave and I'd honestly just rather see that money go towards some other attempt at an accessory. Even if it's for an accessory on a figure I'm not buying, I think the money is better spent elsewhere.

I've got about three of them, but I won't ever use them. They'll just stay in the accessories tin never to see the light of day. A swing and a miss Mattel unfortunately.
