I'll probably use the stands but not the diaroma

I really like the fact that they've brought the stands themselves back, but the diorama piece itself and the backing stand I just don't care for (even though I don't think they look bad at all, just think they're needless)

I threw mine out. My figures and ring accessories take up enough space as is, and I can always use the card backing as a backdrop if necessary.
Kind of unrelated, but not worthy of its own post: Are the peg holes a different size on the bottom of the foot? I have been having a really hard time getting newer figures to fit on my old display stands from the early elite figures. When I looked closer, there appeared to be almost a hex wrench pattern on the foot hole instead of a circular cutout.

I seriously hope they're not coming out of part of the budget that could be used for quality control. I've passed on figures like the Hart Foundation because I can never find ones that don't have paint splotches everywhere.

You can use the stands without the diorama pieces, right? I remember the outcry when stands were dropped a while back. Why are we not happy that stands are (sort of) back?
Seriously asking as someone who has not purchased any of the elite figures that come with stands.

They're fine stands.

Waste of space for me. I do like the foot stand part of them, but theres no use releasing them for a few waves and dropping them again. I dont understand how they dropped the original elite stands for budget reasons but can now afford diorama pieces with each figure.
The money used on the stand that came with AJ Styles would have been better put towards giving him kneepads.

I liked them a lot better after I cut off a picture of the superstar on the box and used them for the backdrop.

Personally, i hardly ever buy a complete series. While i do appreciate the effort to put in something extra with our elites i think stands alone, similar to the old ones, would have been a better decision.
I also kind of feel like it is a marketing strategy to entice the buyers to get complete sets in order to have a full diorama background. However, they are not deal breaker accessories for me.

I like that they'd tried to add some value. But I don't like them at all.

I dont buy complete elite sets so they are really of no use for me. I have 100s of the original stands so I use them. Luckily I have a guy that still sells them for 8 bucks a box of 25 at a flea market. I do want the new RSC clear ones. They look cool

I don't care much for them. But whatever. They don't bother me. I'll sell them in an ebay lot some day.

Maybe if they were two sided. One side is a piece of a diorama if you wanna display the entire series together and the other side is character specific with their logo. something like this to display figures individually with a backdrop It would take us back to the days where superstars cut promos in front of their respective logo's. I love it!
