I was mad for Madballs when I was a kid. My daughter and I bought a few of the remade characters in 2006-07. But now KidRobot has come out with different sizes of vinyl Madballs, and I am hooked!! Bigger size, from left to right: Freaky Fullback, Horn Head, Oculus Orbus, Snake Bait and Wolf Breath. Smaller size (keychains), from left to right: Aargh!, Oculus Orbus and Wolf Breath. It's a bummer that these are sold as blind boxes, but I am fortunate enough to not drawn any duplicates as of yet. Aargh! was my favorite in the 80s, but unfortunately he's one of the chase pieces in the larger size (at a ratio of 1/40). American Greetings (the owners of the Madballs license) has also begun releasing new foam toys, which appear to be more kid-friendly than KidRobot's offerings. Of that series I have a full-sized Dust Brain plus minis of Screamin' Meemee, Oculus Orbus, Skull Face and the rare Glow-in-the-Dark Skull Face! Anyone else love Madballs in the 80s, 00s or today's?
