They need to release Power and Glory, Beverley Brothers, Haku, Bad News Brown, Dino Bravo, Barbarian, Orient Express, The Genius, Damien Demento, MOM, Diesel, Jeff Jarrett and a few others just to kind of complete all the main roster from 1990-1994. I reckon old school hasbro fans would rather these done first than new stars. I know i would.

Dino Bravo will never happen, because of his violent dead...

Besides Diesel, I don't see any of those happening unless the line is uber successful and stays around for years to come.
I see them just doing main event level guys or very top of mid-card, so probably mostly new versions of guys like Macho Man, Bret, Shawn, Razor, Flair, Perfect etc. Probably the only big name from that period never produced by Hasbro is Diesel.
And then of course they'll also do Attitude Era plus WCW so Sting, Goldberg, Arn, Hall, Nash, Austin, Rock, Foley, HHH etc.
Or course I don't follow current wrestling, so I'm not certain who's on good terms with WWE. I just know Owen and Benoit will never happen. And probably no Double J.

Saw three full pegs yesterday at my local Wal Mart. That was a restock because they only had 3 total on the shelves the week before. Good to see. They must be moving. I haven't seen Warrior or Taker yet, but will pick them up as well. I can't help but do my best to get them all. So cool! Bret and Brock are locked in a stare down!

Maybe to some extent. But there will always be demand for guys Mattel won't make plus prototypes that were never released by Hasbro. If anything they now have more parts to pull from.

I think these figures are a great tribute to the old Hasbro line. My local Wal-Mart had been cleared out of them a couple of times, the 3rd time I checked they had one of each left so I snagged those. Haven't seen them on the shelf there since. Looking forward to the Undertaker and Warrior release. I hope they fill some of the old gaps as well.

I'm going to go ahead and cross-post here (but not create a new thread). After driving 45 minutes to my nearest Walmart and finding nothing but empty shelves, I pulled the trigger and purchased the first Retro series via online auction. I was pleasantly surprised when it showed up this afternoon. It was a lot of fun opening these up and taking in the nostalgia. I dug some of my old Hasbro stuff out of storage and took the following photos (forgive me as they have never been cleaned and clearly got a lot of play). Enjoy! The new collection: Andre the Giant vs. Brock Lesnar Hulk Hogan vs. Kevin Owens The Undertaker vs. Roman Reigns LOL J/K - REVERSAL! Kamala vs. John Cena Here are a few shots of guys wearing various belts: And some sillyness: Hail King Owens! HAIL! Overall I am very happy with the job Mattel did. I think they should have been slightly larger, their paint jobs could use some work, and the packaging needs better attention to detail. Other than that...I will be buying these as long as they make them!

Someone at Mattel needs to see the orange card sketches and devote an entire series to it, within licensing limits. I just want Diesel man. He's the biggest star from that era without one.

Diesel Bob Backlund I'll skip Jeff Jarrett Vader Mankind USA Luger MVP Jerry Lawler Bundy Hakushi
And so on...there are just so damn many. Only 10% are desired with maybe 1% or less getting made.

Care to explain what MVP is doing on that list? I would imagine that would be the Steve Lombardi version. (Later Abe 'Knuckleball' Schwartz).

I really hope they fill the gaps from the hasbro era and perhaps add some new outfits to some of the guys we already got. Purple glove Undertaker is a great move. Can't understand why they would have just gone with a plain green trunks Warrior when one already existed and they have been quite good at capturing more iconic outfits in their regular ranges. Surely Warrior from WM6 or Royal Rumble 91 or one of his many other more memorable events could have been chosen. Hopefully they go that route in future.
