Johnny B inticed me to join a fantasy NBA league. I don't know much about the NBA so I just got people who's names I know. ----------- And1 Ballers OH BABY!PG - M. Bibby (SAC) SG - K. Bryant (LAL) G - M. Ginobli (SA) SF - M. Peterson (TOR) PF - A. Stoudemire (PHO) F - J. Smith (ATL) C - (I guess I didn't draft one? ) Util - J. Richardson (GS) Util - C. Billups (PG) BN - M. Daniels (DAL) BN - G. Hill (ORL) BN - D. Gooden (CLE) BN - L. Ridnour (SEA) BN - D. Christie (DAL) So yeah, I don't know anything, so tell me what you think. I legitimately need feedback. LoL.

John just told me that Stoudemire is out for the first four months of the season.
I guess that would've been nice to know.

Yeah, Stoudemire's injury sucks, but he might be worth keeping. You have some great players in Kobe Bryant, Manu Ginobli, Chauncey Billups and Bibby. Richardson is good to, and Hill you'll either get lucky with this year, or he'll do nothing.
You have to get some centers though. If there are no high-ranked free agents, then propose a trade. Keep Bryant and Ginobli though.

You don't have Ron Artest. Your team sucks.

I traded with John for a Center.
I got Marcus Camby, he got Doug Christie. I think he ended up dropping Christie, though, and picking up some other random guy.

That's not too bad at all if Camby stays healthy. He has some huge games often and is pretty solid overall. Doesn't always show up in the box score though. Josh Smith is prob a good guy to have because he should be a lot better this year and he's a shot blocker as well. That kid could break out big time this year offensively too. Don't trade him til he's played a month or obviously if the deal is good. Peterson should get some more PPG with the losses Toronto took to their roster. With the size you don't have now I would not even think about letting Stoudemire go unless it's in a trade for something good. I don't know anything really about fantasy so that was an amatuers take.

Camby is one of the best fantasy options when it comes to rebounding and blocks. Doesn't put up too many offensive numbers though. I thought Doug Christie was at best, a bench option. He's a great defender, but at least I believed, he wasn't great at posting statistics. But then again, I don't play Fantasy NBA.
