Hey all. Some of you may know me as the Red Hood, others may know me as "the guy who wanted a camo Edge figure." I am completely finished collecting WWE figures. First of all, I've grown tired of WWE treating the fans like crap, and I have completely lost interest in the product, and collecting WWE figures. I've grown tired of wrestling as a whole, and frankly, I'm sick of it. I've already sold off most of my collection, and still have about a tenth of my collection to sell. I'll might post the remainder of my collection in the classifieds. It's mostly really worthless figures and crap that nobody really wants left. Either way, I'm done with collecting WWE figures. I'm sick and tired of the hassle, having to buy figures online from scalpers, and the sh*tty distribution that has plagued Canada for ages. It's far too hard to collect figures in Canada. 95% of my WWE collection was bought from the United States, and with the awful exchange rate, I just cannot afford to collect three highly sought after lines anymore. I collect Marvel Legends, Mattel WWE, and Star Wars the Black Series. There are much easier ways to acquire Star Wars and Marvel figures in Canada than there are ways to acquire WWE figures. WWE figures are absolutely by far the hardest to get of these three lines in Canada, and I've grown tired of wrestling itself, which is why I've decided to end my collecting of this line. There are no stores here that sell figures for a decent price. I'll probably continue to buy Edge figures, because he is my favorite wrestler, and he was a real inspiration to me growing up, being from Toronto and all, but other than Edge, I'll never buy another wrestling figure again. Most members who were personal friends of mine have permanently left the forum, but there are still a few of you out there that I was well acquainted with. I'd just like to thank you all for the great moments on Wfigs. It was fun, and it was a hell of time.
Thanks and goodbye,
The Red Hood/Rated®Edge

So does this mean you aren't going to get the HOF series 4 camo attired Edge figure? HAHAHA lol. I completely forgot about that. I actually kept all of my Edge figures for myself. I'm going to still buy that figure actually, if it ever gets released. That will be the last wwe figure I ever buy. After I buy that, I'll be completely done.

We all go through this phase when it comes to wrestling. Growing up I fell out of love with wrestling until the Bret Hart Canada vs America angle, and that's where I jumped back in and started catching up on everything. Even these days I barely watch the main WWE product, but I still get my wrestling fill from NXT, NJPW, ROH, and PWG. Sometimes I'll even bring out my inner Jim Cornette and go back and rewatch classic Crockett stuff.
As far as collecting goes, I know first hand how frustrating it is to be an international collector, as you and I have discussed before. It's extrapolated when other lines are so much easier. We miss out on exclusives, hell we miss out on entire waves. I can count on one hand how many of my WWE figs were bought locally.
Best of luck with everything, man.

Thanks and goodbye, The Red Hood/Rated®Edge I understand where you're coming from, as those are the figure lines I collect. Though I am not in Canada I mostly use Amazon to get my figures as distribution and scalping is a problem in my area. I have started collecting far less. There are a few more figures I want from mattel ( Austin Aries, Bobby Roode, and a Hollywood) and then I will probably back off completely until(unlikely) TNA or another fed gets mass produced figures. It sucks you aren't leaving on better terms. All the best.

I'll probably continue to buy Edge figures, but solely Edge. I'm still pretty much done collecting wrestling figs though. Won't buy anyone but Edge ever again.

I haven't liked wrestling since 2000. I only started watching the wwe network archive with my son when he became old enough..Then I started buying him figures. If it was hard for me to get them then I probably wouldn't bother. I'm glad I don't have to hear about edge anymore though. Not that you were annoying about it, just because I don't buy edge (unless brood).
Peace

Sold 95% of my collection a few months back. I kept all my Undertaker's and Ultimate Warrior's, and a small collection of maybe 15 miscellaneous figures ( Sting, Flauir, Hogan, Savage, Bret, etc.) . But I just lost my passion for it. When new preorders were going up on RSC, and I WASN'T ordering them ... I knew something was wrong. I'll never be completely out of the game as I'll still grab the occassional figure that catches my eye - just picked up the HOF 2-pack for the Warrior, plan to buy the Network Spotlight Taker and Balor when they come out. But it feels liberating not having to get everything that comes out.

Everything else is gone though, besides about 25 figures that I still intend to sell.

I have seen over 10 people stop collecting this recent week Another collector burned out by mattel and there crappy distribution. Its very simple Bill/Mattel, the easier you make it to collect wwe figures the more people will buy them... The harder you make it to find the newer wwe figures the more hardcore collectors say f*ck this sh*t because they get tired of paying scalper prices. Mattel is doing nothing to remedy this situation and sales have dropped off considerably for 2016. When hardcore wwe/mattel collectors are quitting in droves like this Bill you need to be very worried...
