I've asked before with no real answer, but I know people come and go from the forums, anyone want to comment on this?
My main hang-ups are with late 92 and early 93 waves and series designations.
1. Why is Big Bossman #2 considered part of series 3 instead of series 4? He does show up on the series 3 cardbacks, but he is pictured with series 4 in the Hasbro catalog and that is the series he was packed with (at least in my area). I never saw him until series 4 hit shelves.
Also a side tangent on 92', did anyone else notice when Warrior #3 was in US stores, was he packed along with series 4? Because that's when I found him after those came out and when they were on shelves. People always say he was pulled early because he left, but I'm thinking he wasn't in the US when series 3 hit since he had left the company after Summerslam 91'. And he came back at Mania 8 in 92'. So I'm thinking they decided to put him out later in 92' after he came back.
2. Series 5 from 1993. These were clearly in 2 waves as shown in the Hasbro catalog. Mountie, Anvil, Sid, Warlord and Virgil came out first with the other 5 a couple months later. They are separated on the WWF Magazine ad aswell by the different colors used for the names. So why are the first 5 not referred to as series 5 and the second wave as series 6? And then the wave with Flair would be series 7 and so on.
