No matter the product you're purchasing, money is money and you expect to get what you're paying for. It's like the whole Big Mac thing. You're expecting to get this glorious burger they show on the menu but you get something else. That analogy doesn't work. First, does anyone in 2017 really expect the burger to look just like the one on the menu? Second, even if you do have that expectation, you wouldn't find out that you'd been gypped until you actually got the burger and took it out of the wrapper. You know exactly what you're getting with these action figures. No one is ripping you off. You have the option to carefully examine the product and make an educated decision to buy or not to buy. It's the equivalent of McDonalds showing you the exact Big Mac they want to sell you and then letting you choose whether or not you want to eat it. imnor saying we are being ripped off, but the point I'm making is why make a figure that isn't accurate to begin with if the parts to make it accurate are available? People and companies complain that the consumer complains too much, well... release the right product in the first place and there will be less complaining.

But he didn't that hair and beard style in 1997/1998. You're confused lol the spotlight figure is based off his ministry look, hence the robe. The taker you're referring to was released as a basic, which sucks. But this spotlight figure is actually 100% accurate The gear under the robe was only worn in 1998

I've wanted a Taker from this run, but for me it wasn't the hairstyle I wanted and the lack of laceless boots also kind of takes away from it too, there's something else that looks wrong about the figure's body but I'm not exactly sure but somethings off proportionally. I'll probably end up getting it if it goes for really because I want the robe.

If you have wm15 DM and are waiting for a proper wm14 Elite, the robe is the only thing interesting about this figure.
The skinny torso and lack of proper boots damper the rest of the figure.

I agree. We've waited almost ten years for this figure - a lot of us. At the very least, we should have some bit of satisfaction in the fact that they released a figure that was most of what we wanted. No? How do you go on with life if you expect things to be the way you want it, even though it's fine for 99% of everyone else? I say take the stick out of your butt and use it to light fire because that stick is gonna be useless.

They know people have been wanting this figure for such a long time, and than they finally release it but it's wrong when they have the pieces readily available to have made it right. There's no excuse for that.

I love this fig! But like all collectors, I have one minor complaint. The body itself just seems slightly too small. Maybe I'm wrong, but it looks smaller than all of my other Undertaker figures.

There have been so many Taker's. That is why that no one wants to see another Ministry type one after the DM shelf warmed is all.

Wrestling fans will always find a way to moan Mattel can make the perfect figure and people will moan or complain lol I'd love to see Mattel make the perfect figure They easily can. Look at dm hogan and scsa. For some strange reason, they don't put that effort into all elite figures. Look at elite 6 warrior and legends warrior. Wrong belts and wrong attire and even Mattel design team admitted to giving the wrong belt because they wanted to give people a chance to own the yellow ic belt. If they just do it right, 100% the first time, and they can, people won't complain. I see the most complaints are on attire, heads and wrong body parts.

The Undertaker stopped wearing that attire in May 1999 and he first debut the Ministry beard in January that year which means the entire look only spanned for a couple of months. Had it been his Fully Loaded 1999 attire then I would've been beyond excited but the issue is that they had a perfect chance to make an Elite 1997/1998 Undertaker which is something everyone desires. I find it ridiculous that in 7 years Bill has gave us 1 lousy basic 1998 Undertaker and so far 3 Ministry's.

I, for one, am happy to finally get his '98 look. Tgis is the same attire for SummerSlam minus the hair style and plus the sweet Ministry robe. I don't mind head swapping. I'm sure I can scrounge up a spare elbow pad.
I've been wanting this attire since Jakks RA days. I could never find that 3-pack with Kane and Bearer. Now I can finally get it.
First Vince, then Boss Man, now this, and we might be getting AE Shane, too? My '98 roster of most important factions is slowly completing.

Yeaaaaah so that's why generally speaking I cut down on 90% of my mattel wwe purchases in favor for higher end figures. Yeah more expensive but you get what you pay for. Side note I think the spotlight taker looks good so I'll be picking it up

It is already accurate. However, His iconic attitude era look from 97-98, would be able to be obtained if you simply swap the recent Lost legends/E23/SS heritage head onto it. Lol I feel alone here. I've been waiting for this look for years. Thanks Bill! Ditto, ministry Undertaker is my favorite out of all his looks, so I'll gladly accept all ministry takers lol.

Because we're consumers who are passionate about a product and thus have unrealistic expectations that are easily dashed causing anguish and rage. No matter the product you're purchasing, money is money and you expect to get what you're paying for. It's like the whole Big Mac thing. You're expecting to get this glorious burger they show on the menu but you get something else. I gotta add that kids nowadays don't know the value of a dollar. I used to work for 6.85 an hour and these lil bastards get 12$ and they get upset when asked to do their jobs LOL It's just all messed up. I want what I PAID FOR. You can't erase that just yet - I ain't THAT OLD.
